Ive been a patient at this facility since 2021, and until recently, I've had consistently positive experiences. I'm giving this review two stars, and those two stars are solely for Dr. Staggers and the majority of the office staff, particularly Heather and the therapists. They are truly amazing, demonstrating genuine care and a commitment to helping people overcome life's challenges. You can tell they genuinely want to see patients succeed, and their support has been invaluable.
However, my last appointment was deeply concerning and unprofessional, and it overshadows the positive aspects of this facility. This facility is meant to support individuals in recovery, and the behavior I witnessed from the new nurse practitioner was unacceptable.
Specifically, she attempted to drastically alter my prescription, which I've been receiving without issue for months. Her reasoning was that patients with my insurance were only allowed a different prescription format. This was completely unfounded. When I had my pharmacy confirm my established prescription and insurance coverage, she remained argumentative.
The most disturbing part was her demeanor. She spoke to me in a condescending manner, pointing her finger in my face. After being proven wrong by my pharmacy, she begrudgingly agreed to process my prescription as usual, but with a dismissive attitude, stating, "If you can't get your medicine filled, you just can't get it filled." This entire ordeal was completely unnecessary and created significant stress.
This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous in a recovery setting. Unnecessary medication changes and confrontational attitudes can severely destabilize individuals working towards sobriety. This nurse practitioner's actions demonstrated a lack of empathy and a disregard for patient well-being.
While I deeply appreciate the support I've received from Dr. Staggers, Heather, and the therapists, this recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the future of this facility. I hope management addresses the issues with the nurse practitioner to ensure all patients receive the respectful and professional care they deserve.

This place is a joke. They increase the price yet provide less service than they originally advertised. They mess up something every. single. month.!!! And not just for me but also for the other 4-5 people I know that are patients here too! Once they mess up, it takes forever for them to correct their mistake! The staff is rude! Aaron, who works for the “call center” upstairs is the rudest person I’ve ever had the displeasure of talking to! And it’s every single time he answers! I’ve had him threaten me, hang up on me, yell at me, and be downright nasty!! I’m leaving this review after finding out his behavior was not just towards me but others too, who have had the same experience with him as I have. I personally believe they’ve taken on too many patients so now they can’t keep up and it’s a mess every month and maybe Aaron is overworked/overwhelmed but either way, he should not be in contact with patients with his behavior!! I’m actively looking for a new clinic where I feel valued as a human and not treated as a burden & where my money is valued and where I get an experience worth what I’m paying.

Sam, been here almost 3 years and inside three years I have never met a messy or group of women that worked for a professional doctors office in my life. The doctor and one of the staff members that work there are absolutely amazing so I cannot saying this facility, but when a patient is calling stressing that they still have not gotten, their medicines, called in after a week of pay his people and then you call a nurse and a nurse hangs up in your face and then refuses to answer the phone and when I say this, I don’t say this because this happened one time this is happened multiple times more than I can count it is become absolutely ridiculous. If you do not want to work with recovering addicts do not work at a Suboxone clinic if you do not have the answers for sad patients do not work there.

This place was great years ago, but it has gone way down. I saw another negative review on here that had the exact same complaints that I share. Prescriptions are written in error almost every time I visit, and it is hell to get the mistakes corrected. Once they collect your $200, you are just a body to shuffle in and out. Physical exams are not sufficient to medical standards. They claim to serve as your primary physician for your needs between monthly visits, but that is a flat out LIE!!! I have called on multiple occasions between visits for medical needs (such as having a cold), and I never get a response. Also, there is an obviously miserable, young punk that works in the call center. He is by far the rudest, most condescending customer service representative I have ever encountered. He cursed at me for asking questions. Bet I cursed back. Have fun with that $10 an hour job answering the phones buddy...I guess I would be miserable too..💁

Vista Medical in Mobile is amazing! I have been a patient there for about 2 years and have never had a complaint. Everyone’s nice. I am 42 years old and can honestly say that my Dr there is the best Dr I have ever had. They actually listen to you and care about your well being and go above and beyond to help you in any way they can. I would recommend Vista to anyone that has an Opiate addiction.

This is the best place I have ever been! Dr. Taylor and Laurie and all the other employees truly care about their patients. They don’t just treat you like an addict and like you are nothing. Please don’t listen to the other negative reviews and give them a chance.

My husband has been going to this clinic for almost a year. He has never missed an appointment. Passes his drug screens and pays his doctor's appointment in full but every 3 months when it's time to get a new PA for the insurance company there is always a problem. He saw the Dr on Saturday and paid. Did his u/a now it's Tuesday and he still doesn't have his medicine because they claim that the lab has not entered his results and insurance will not pay until they see he has a clean drug test. They tell him he has to do another u/a but if they didn't enter the results for the first one they are not going to enter the results for the second one. The doctors need to hire professionals to work the front desk and they need to do their job. If you don't like working with recovering addicts tyou need to get another job because when you are lazy and unprofessional you are jeopardizing someone's sobriety.
