I love this establishment, not only the work that is put in by the staff but the staff themselves, you can truly tell they have their hearts in it. Me and my family have been bringing our dogs here since my aunt had worked there and recommended it and let me tell you as someone who lives in laurel hill, it is so worth the drive! They have handled me and my fur babies at our best and our worst, from simple shots and check ups, to Sadly having to say goodbye to my sweet Mia girl, they were very patient with me and let me have my time alone with her, I truly mean it when I say I felt nothing but compassion for mine and my girls situation. And a short time after I received a handwritten letter from them as a condolence, and to me that just speaks volumes about the value in that office!

Dr Story is a wonderful Vet and his staff is also wonderful. We have been using them for both of our dogs for about 8 years now. Both dogs have always gotten very excited when we tell them it’s time to go see Dr Story. We highly recommend Dr Story and his staff.

I’ve been taking my critters to Dr Storey and Opp Vet Hospital for several years. Dr Storey and his staff have seen me through three euthanasia episodes, one was done at my house - my 100 pound Labrador was more than I could load in and out of my truck by myself, so Dr Storey and one of the young ladies at his office compassionately came to my home. All of my critters, past and present, have been eager to go see Storey and staff. I currently have two dogs and a bob tail cat. My English bulldog, Edgar, gets very excited when I tell him we’re going to see Dr Storey and the girls, and they love Edgar. The Labradors Ive lost in recent years all were very easy to persuade to go see Storey and crew. I think an animal’s attitude about going to a vet clinic is a compelling testimony to the clinic and its owner and staff - in our case, it’s a very positive testimony. I feel very secure in offering my highest recommendation for Dr Storey and his staff. They’re all very polite, approachable, knowledgeable, professional and supportive, and compassionate in the difficult times. Pictured below are Edgar and my ten month old Lab puppy, Hazel.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Story and his staff. I've been going to this place before Story took over and he has definitely turned the place around for the better!! My pets love him and the staff so much. When my senior pup had cancer, he and his staff helped me in so many ways, I'll be forever grateful. 💓

Dr. Story and all of his staff are caring and so helpfull with any issues, or questions that you may have concerning your pets. They approach your pets in a kind and loving manner which helps in calming the anxious pets. I recommend them .

Frank loves Doctor Story and the friendly staff - and so do we! We receive lots of interest in our dogs and lots of practical advice for their happy dog lives. We drive 70 miles and it is so worth it to receive the individual care and attention from Opp Veterinary Hospital! Thank you!

When I found a year old pup abandoned on the side of the road, she was in pretty bad shape. And with it being our 1st winter in Opp, I had no idea who to call. I called Opp veterinary and they got her in, gave her a thorough exam, all her shots and informed us of how she got her wounds and how to care for her. Now we aren't down there year round, but we have found a great place to take our pups when we are there.
The entire staff was so comforting with her and got her all fixed up for us.
