They take VA and thank you for supporting us veterans! Easy registration and they’ve been timely every time I’ve been in, and I’ve been taken care of well!

Never have I left a doctor’s office feeling so small. Notes in my chart with things I never said regarding medication I have been on and then received a phone call to discuss my request to have my medication sent to a different pharmacist only to be gaslit even more by the receptionist regarding paperwork I filled out more than once. I will be finding a new primary care provider.

I feel they don’t listen. Only saw a PA who only wants to prescribe what she wants and not what your use too! Acts like you don’t know your own body. Never got to see a MD dr. Don’t go here unless you don’t want them to listen!!!

We are a military family that recently moved to the area. We were assigned to Northwoods Family Medicine through our health insurance provider with Kara Boothby as our PCM. We were very pleased with all of the reviews we saw online about this practice. We were equally excited to see the fantastic reviews about Kara Boothby. Unfortunately, we will never experience the quality care that led to those reviews. During three separate phone calls (on three separate days) to the clinic, for assistance with the new patient process, I found the receptionist to be a bit rude. She seemed annoyed and frustrated when answering my questions, sometimes even talking over me before allowing me to finish my statements. I felt more like a bother than a potential new patient. My first, second, and third impression were all disappointing. The third time wasn't the charm in this case, and unfortunately, was enough to prompt me to move on. I believe it's highly important for receptionists to recognize that they are the FIRST encounter for callers and are (at that point) the "face" of the practice. If the customer service provided at the receptionist level isn't above and beyond, the potential patients will likely find somewhere else that knows how to deliver.

Today was my first visit to Northwoods, first impressions go far and mine is that this place is terrific! I saw Dr. Smith and he was very nice and made me feel at ease, my nurse was nice and honestly everyone I have spoken with there so far has been super nice. It's great to have a good feeling about seeing a doctor!

I see Dr. Kara Boothby PA-C , she has been by far the best doctor I have ever seen !! she has been so patient and listens to all my concerns !!! all the staff is wonderful as well they are all so kind and caring I love them all !!! I appreciate you all very much !!

I have been seeing Maryann Egbert for a little over 15 years.
She has saved my life many many times; the connection and care that she gives to her patients is unbeatable! She takes her time with everyone to make sure she’s covered every thing and has always helped myself and my family come out of whatever illness or health complications we’re facing. She is my guardian Angel.
