Community garden!!!! Owned by the city, yearly membership basis, great opportunity for community, health, and education. Well organized and well maintained. There are options for buying produce, volunteering and renting plots.

The WMCC have a comprehensive and achievable mission statement.

Amazing opportunity for community, personal growth, and giving back to a goal larger than yourself: supporting and providing for the White Mountain community.

This place is positively special. You can rent, plant and maintain your own garden box here. They have a tiny, seasonal farmers market with a great selection by late summer. There are beehives and rows of flowers between rows of vegetables. Lovely lovely people too.
