I finally got to see my husband today. After 2 days. I though his was at a different facility. My husband couldn't remember my phone number to call me so he asked one of the nurses to please check his phone number for my phone number and she did. She didn't have to everyone was so so nice when I first got there so excited to see him. I made him some food. An we ate snack's I brought. I just want to thank everyone to making me feel welcomed. Not one person was judgemental.... THANK U for the people that work in the evening. God bless you and your family's..

Let me start this off by saying they do the best they can. They are always understaffed. If you want to have HIPAA rights violated, then definitely go here. Wrong information is a huge issue here. If you ask 4 different staff members the same question then you’ll get a different answer from each one. If you are planning on being there for 24 or 48 hours then you need to check yourself. Multiple people and even doctors will tell you that you’ll. be free to leave when you want or you’ll get out on a certain date but make sure to take that with a grain of salt. Always try to leave yourself at least two weeks just in case because you might get court ordered or something. The food is all great value brand Walmart stuff that’s heated up. The staff does not do a lot to control patients who treat this place like a prison which affects everyone. It’s the only place on the mountain. Some of the staff does care, but the place is a joke. If there was a “secret shopper” type of patient who could go in patient and report what goes on… the place would probably get shut down. If it’s your only option and you’re actually in crisis then I say to check in and it does help. Thanks to the staff for trying your best.

When I visited a friend at changepoint, I was placed under great duress to sign a privacy agreement. They were jerks about it. They have dirty little secrets they are hiding. Don't let your loved ones go here. They'll be treated better in prison than this place.

It's very sad. We were told our son could get help, not only detoxing, but counseling. Nope, no counseling no help. So many were coming in looking for help and there was none. It's a joke like everything!

This is the only psychiatric hospital in the area. They are a great resource for those suffering from acute psyciatric issues that require immediate attention. I know many of the nurses, techs and administrators who work there and they care deeply about the people they serve.
