My family and I moved from California 2 years ago. We found Dr. Jones and we couldn’t be happier!! My kids love him, he’s very thorough, patient, understanding, and encouraging! One the best doctors I’ve met! The staff has always been very flexible, polite, and made my kids and I feel welcome! I had a baby this last year and the staff has started to feel like family! Thank you Summit and Thank You Dr. Jones!

My kids have been patients of Rachel Armstrong since they were newborns and she is a fantastic and compassionate provider. My kids just love her. We recently (unfortunately due to a sick visit) got to meet Dr. Jones who was also amazing!!! I haven't met the other provider in the office yet but everyone I've met in this practice has been wonderful so far. The front office staff is nice and prompt at addressing my concerns! I highly recommend Summit Pediatrics!

Rachel Armstrong is absolutely amazing! My son has always been terrified of doctors however when he came in to summit pediatrics the entire staff was great and so friendly. When we were in the back waiting a woman took my son by the hand and took him to pick out some toys and let him bring in the room whatever he wanted and however many toys he wanted. He was so excited! Then he met Rachel Armstrong who was just the sweetest woman in the world. She is so great with children and my son adores her he tells me how nice she is and how he wants to go back and see her. We now live in Phoenix and I am honestly considering driving to show low for his doctors appointments SHE IS THAT GREAT!!

We had an appointment today with Dr Jones and he was great! Super thorough, and we actually saw him for more than 10 minutes! He made my son laugh a lot, and when my 2 boys were fighting over toys he went and got them some more cars.
We have had multiple pediatricians because we've moved a lot, and I was VERY impressed with him!

I have had a great experience with Dr. Brewer in the past which is why I chose him as my children’s pediatrician. However, it seems the only time you can be seen in this office is if you have an appointment weeks ahead of time. They are always full when my children are sick and refer me to the urgent care.

I called on Friday before Christmas because my sweet little seven year old has a fever and bright red cheeks as well as other uncomfortable symptoms. She needs a doctor. The office is closed for Christmas until Tuesday. I am livid.

Apparently these doctors go through medical school and join the summit network so that they can vaccinate well children and measure them once a year then spend Christmas with their families. Where is the continuity of care? What of the point of having a pediatrician if I can never be seen when my child is sick. The urgent care doesn’t know them. The process there didn’t go to medical school and a long residency program to specialize in childhood diseases. The urgent care is not a replacement for a pediatrician.

The lady on the phone gave me the urgent care hours but lead with when they were open tomorrow. My. Child. Is. Sick. Today!!

Do they not care that children are sick? I feel completely forgotten and like summit doesn’t give a hoot about my sick child.

I guess it is more important that these care providers are home with their families for Christmas. Who is taking care of the sick children? Is that why they went to medical school?

Doesn’t it make sense to not schedule well check appointments near the holidays but leave a provider at the office to care for the children who are under their care and sick at the holidays? A time when kids get sick?!?

I am unhappy but what option do I have? Any time I fill out forms for my children and they ask for pediatrician details all I can think is to write in the number for the urgent care. I can hardly consider this office to be the carers for my children.

I've had a few not so good experiences with staff here. The office ladies can be very rude, and I've had a bad experience with a student medical assistant not knowing what she's doing, and not being asked if it was okay with me if she practiced taking blood from my at the time 3 month old. I probably would have said no.. but on the other hand, Dr Jones is very refreshing. He's always seen us and addressed all my concerns. He's very thorough and takes every bit of his job as seriously as possible. He's also very good with my kids which I appreciate a lot. I've been to MANY doctors on the mountain, trying to find the right one for my boys and Dr Jones is it. Thank you.

Dr. Brewer was my daughters doctor he was awesome, but the front desk ladies & staff were always rude to me. I called and asked them to fax something I really needed and they did not take it serious at all, everytime they said they will put it in there "Notes" they took no action what so ever. My daughter was on oxygen and for them to not care about her well being is sad and upsetting. We will switch to another provider who hopefully has better assistance and more nice people.

I do not reccomend going to summit healthcare pediatrics. Somehow my appointment was canceled without notifying me and they can't even count to know when my daughter is 4 months old. On top of that, the whole time I've went here I've been told I'm wrong about what I think my daughter needs. Fast forward 2 months later and found out I was right about her reflux and her teething early. 😒
