Hit and miss. I would really love to say wonderful things about this place and I will likely have to find another pharmacy after this but it may be worth it to provide some honesty. The funny thing is is, when speaking with members of the community, it is not all sunshine and roses with these people and I understand that they have a tough job but they can still be kind to people who are trying so hard to be kind to them. So, a few pieces of advice: 1. DO check your prescriptions carefully. You may think that there's no way you might get a medication that you have a documented allergy to but I'm living proof that all of the safeguards between the doctor's office and the pharmacy really can be ignored and bypassed. I was really nice after spending a day in the hospital but I don't feel like they appreciated that because they still treat me like I'm the devil when I have to pay with a $50 bill. Which brings me to 2. They are not kidding about accepting nothing over $20, regardless of your merchandise total. They really will make you feel like you've done something very wrong if you present them with a large bill, every time (I've done it twice) which is a strong indication that this is a result of their training. 3. They can and will tell you where you are allowed to shop. I was told that since I live in Overgaard I cannot use the Show Low location. Seems strange because I'm quite sure that every other pharmacy in Show Low would be happy to have my business.
Another frustrating aspect to working with them is that you may get text messages telling you that your medication is ready, then when you go in, not only is it not ready, you are lying about getting a text message. One of the techs literally said to my husband "let's be honest" when he told her that he had gotten an alert. As if he was really trying to get over on someone. So he was literally called a liar because they weren't ready for him. So, it doesn't matter if you willingly forgive a life threatening mistake or make every effort to treat them with kindness and understanding or make efforts to support their business even when that means waiting until the next day sometimes and not having access to your meds on weekends, or even if you make sure that they get a Christmas card. They can and will make you feel unappreciated and unimportant regardless of how hard you try to make them feel understood and appreciated. Ive witnessed some people being really rude to them so you'd think they might be nicer to the ones who do their best to be nice to them but you'd be mistaken. To everyone who has left there with hurt feelings that they didn't deserve, you're not alone.

I’ve tried to get prescriptions through this pharmacy twice now. I’ve requested them to call me to update insurance information before submitting a prior authorization. They did not. They will not accept insurance for compounded medication. They cannot order the manufactured version of the medication. I will be driving to Phoenix to get my daughter’s medication because they are unable to help me figure out other options and unwilling to work with insurance.

The pharmacists here are amazing! They go above and beyond for my daughter. If you run into issues with somebody (like I have numerous times now), request to speak to the pharmacist and you'll be in GREAT hands!! If it wasn't for Nick and Lindsey, we would've been forced to find a different pharmacy just to ensure the safety of our daughter's medications because they are her literal lifeline.

I'd give 5 STARS if it wasn't for two employees now being total jerks over the phone and treating me like I'm being a pain when I'm expressing the seriousness of needing clear updates on medications. Sorry for the review I was trying to avoid but I've had enough.

Again, LOVE THIS PHARMACY!! Nick and Lindsey are absolutely AMAZING and I couldn't ask for better pharmacists to trust with my daughter's medications.

Every staff member works together with each other and the patient to ensure the best possible service! They are also proactive - reaching out to my provider even before I'VE called the request a refill when they see that there are no more refills. So I never have to worry about being out of one of my medications. Each and every staff member is kind, caring and helpful. Every time. I know I can always count on White Mountain Pharmacy!

Excellent pharmacy and staff in every way! Little or no wait times and the availability of various pickup or mail or delivery options makes them my absolute favorite prescription provider. The pharmacists are ALWAYS willing to answer questions and the staff is well informed and happy to help in any way. You can't do better than this, all while keeping your prescription history in one place to best protect your health.

AMAZING!! Their customer service is INCREDIBLE!! I switched over all of my medications to them! They deliver them to my home, and I get 3 month fills at a time. They give a price break when you do that, and it's been a total game changer for me! I had an issue and needed an emergency fill and they went above and beyond to get me taken care of! Nick is an incredible pharmacist, and totally saved me from suffering when he helped me figure out the testing to get my hormone levels right after my hysterectomy. They are incredible at compounding, and also taught me what to do with my new hormone medications. Nick works very closely with my doctor to make sure I am taken care of! His staff are incredible! Val is another compounding pharmacist there, Lindsey is a pharmacist, Phoebe and Mike work the other areas! Seriously I feel like family when I work with them, and I feel safe and know that they have my back when it comes to my essential medications! And they also sell over the counter stuff, and I was able to help my hot flashes with a product that Nick recommended! If you take any form of medication you need to go here! I can't say enough great things about them!!

I have been using this pharmacy for compounded specialty hormones for my patients for about three years. Staff has always been kind and patient. Pharmacists are knowledgeable and willing to answer questions for patients. They also help patients who have specific financial concerns and make appropriate recommendations.
I recommend White Mountain pharmacy to all of my patients.

Good prices. No delivery. No after hours emergency number. I felt more like a customer than a patient. Owner sent me response regarding delivery and no emergency help on weekends and holidays. I responded back but no response back to me by November 1, 2022. I called my pharmacist at Fairmount Pharmacy in phoenix. They are so amazing and they mail and offer after hours emergency service. They put walkers together for my parents and deliver. If I forget a prescription on Vacation they will make sure you get it that day anywhere I am.
They now take care of me and my family. They’re on Camelback and Central Ave.
Amazing company!
