I had my first visit at Optima Medical and I really didn't know what to expect, I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I felt. The staff was pleasant and caring. I felt very comfortable. My provider Lirio was great. She listened to my concerns and addressed each one and she was open to my needs. I left feeling very satisfied with my visit. I'm glad that I have found a place that I can feel that they care about my medical needs.

I have been a patient with Julie Townsend for over 15 years . A few years ago the business name changed as well as the location. I've noticed that my wait times are short and I am still getting all of the personal attention I need. I feel like all of my concerns get addressed and have been extra impressed with how many auxiliary services they have on site ( different kinds of testing for example) . I'll remain a patient !

Nice clean environment, professional and friendly atmosphere. Appointments are readily available, without a long wait time. I have received excellent care at Optima Medical. They really pay attention to my needs, I feel like I am listened to by staff and doctors. Definitely recommend.

I’ve come to this office twice and saw the same NP both times. I originally came to talk about my mental health, but both visits felt cold and disconnected. I explained that I was feeling anxious, especially after the recent passing of my son’s father, and instead of compassion or understanding, I was told I might be “depressed” and that I should “switch to day shifts.” I told her I work nights that’s why I’m tired not because I’m depressed. I know my body and what I’m going through.

My most recent visit was yesterday. I called ahead to let the office know I was running a few minutes late this is because my son had a really rough morning again, his father just passed. I got there at 9:21 for a 9:15 appointment. At the end of the visit, while discussing my mental health, the NP said in the coldest tone: “Next time you should be here 10 minutes early. You were 8 minutes late.” I was pretty shocked by her tone, it honestly made me feel awful for into my car and cried.

I wasn’t just late for any reason I had a lot going on that morning, and I still made the effort to show up and even gave a courtesy call. If I had been 10-15 minutes late with no call, I would totally understand. But that wasn’t the case.

All in all, I didn’t feel heard or supported during a really hard time in my life. I’ll be finding a provider who actually listens and shows basic empathy.

I love going to the doctor now! Everyone at this office is so professional, but even more, they are nice! They make me feel important as if I actually matter to them! My nurse practitioner left to find a different path and a different nurse practitioner took her place and she is just as wonderful! I love being able to text the office if I need a medication refill and they are so quick about getting me in for an appointment it getting the medicine refilled! Optima is definitely a wonderful option for healthcare! I would recommend them to anyone as I am a nurse currently in school to become a nurse practitioner!

Dr. Celia Elias is absolutely wonderful. She has a great bedside manner. She is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and always listens to her patients. She has been my mom’s doctor for years and my mom speaks so highly of her. I’ve taken my mom to all her appointments and I have to agree. Dr. Elias is the best. She never rushes and it is obvious she cares about her patients. She is also empathetic and has compassion. Love her!!!
The office techs are great as well.

I had an appointment at the PHOENIX OPTIMA at 59th Ave and Union hills. I love this office. Everyone was lovely. James was awesome! I recommend going to this location if at all possible! 10 stars if I could!!!!! You're missing out if you don't give them a chance to take care of you!

NP Julie Townsend is a wonderful provider. I appreciate that she takes time to listen to my concerns and offers sound medical advice. Her assistant, Jackie, is kind and efficient. Truly those two provide quality medical care.
