Beware of this practice. It was Iora Medical and I could not say enough good things. . Now owned by Amazon and has gone right down the drain. I was seeing Dr. John Po for Primary and HIV. He in the beginning was one of the best HIV doctors I have ever worked with. He has become a nightmare since being made regional director. He mis-prescribed a medication that made me very sick.. Then refused to help me. He comes off very polite before turning into a tyrant once he thinks he has control over you. You can no longer phone into the office where you are seen. All calls are now routed through a call center all over the country. Your call is taken by a “health Coach” an otherwise medically illiterate person with no training. It takes 2 weeks to get an appointment to speak with your doctor. Someone could die waiting that long and I almost did. They will only answer portal messages that interest them and ignore the rest. I left there with an untreated Urinary track Infection and an Adrenal suppression caused by a drug interaction prescribed by Dr. Po. Thank God I made it out alive. I did not know it was Amazon that bought out Iora or I would have left immediately. Why would anyone want their Medical affairs managed by Jeff Bezos and Amazon.

I get good consistent care. I like that we have a Health Coach that quickly responds to texts and phone calls. It’s easy to schedule my appointments through the HC. I’ve been working with her for 4 years now. She knows my history.

For several months, we've been bringing my mom here, and this place surpasses her previous primary care doctors by a mile. Elyssa Waters and Rebecca Jones, the professionals she sees here, are fantastic! Each visit is never rushed; they are incredibly kind and knowledgeable, dedicating ample time to her—a stark contrast from her previous doctor. They efficiently handle referrals and prescriptions, and scheduling appointments is always easy. The office is clean and pleasant. I highly recommend One Seniors Medical on Grant.

Totally happy with the care I am receiving and the accessibility to care. Love the health coach - such a good use of time - they can help you and also triage and save precious nurse and doctor time. I think it’s a great business model and much better than anything I have experienced in the past. I feel my needs are met on an extremely timely basis and I have access to nurses and doctors who care about me.

I have had a very mixed experience at IPC. One of my doctors really helped me with a chronic issue. He seems quite knowledgeable. However, I can not say I like the model of care-a half hour appt. consists of review of current issues with your health coach and 15 minutes at most with your md. They are extremely tight with their time.

The communication between the health coach has often been vague and trying to pin down communication was often futile.

Past medical records I had brought over a year ago from CT were not in my chart - which means to me the md's had not seen them - nor was anyone aware that they were there.

I pushed to have this situation rectified and before it was, I had had to complain to an administrator in their Boston headquarters. Maybe it has just been a bad mix but I am searching for a new practice. I wish others a better experience.
