I had to help my daughter with some questions about her balance, we spoke with Nichole...she was so easy to talk to and super understanding...on top of that very professional. She helped us more than our actual insurance people! We were relieved to finally get a clear understanding of everything and at that point Happily paid my Daughters balance. My Daughter really likes this place, said her Dr's have all been amazing to her. jThanks Desert health

Very mixed review. Mwrah is honestly the best provider I've worked with and has gone above and beyond to help me and find answers that other providers haven't been able to find.

That being said, I might have to find a new doctor. I was told I never gave anyone my insurance so they were charging me out of pocket. I pulled up my patient portal, showing I had uploaded my most recent insurance, and was told that because I never notified them I'm responsible for the bill. I forwarded all the emails where I notified them on top of uploading my insurance.

Then they told me I was responsible for all this extra money because my insurance denied my claims because they were telehealth. I told them that didn't make sense because they give benefits for doing telehealth.

I called my insurance, they were confused because they support telehealth and when looking it up found out Desert Health never sent any claims in at all.

I asked to speak to the practice manager, they gave me a voicemail and I still haven't gotten a callback. They won't let me make an appointment until I pay my out of pocket bill even though they should have been charging my insurance and haven't been.

They called to reschedule my appointment, day of my appointment, I was asked to pay this in full when they still haven't fixed the mistake. They cancelled my appointment as I'm trying to check in for it.

Now my medications aren't being approved for refills, I have less than a week left of meds, and I can't get anyone on the phone.

I used to work in reputation management for providers of oncology offices, I can't imagine how bad it would have been to do this to a patient.

Not looking forward to the brain zaps from suddenly going off my meds. Wish anyone would answer me and fix this. I'm happy to pay the correct bill. I hate that my care is being withheld over their mistake.

I called in to schedule a new patient appointment after not receiving a response from the online chat. I spoke with Genevie who was very knowledgeable about insurance and scheduling. She advised me that they do not take my insurance- bummer because I felt their therapists would be a nice fit for myself. I was offered their self pay rates and will consider them. After reading previous reviews I felt the need to leave something positive as my call was answered promptly, my first questions were not a bother, and the front staff member was very friendly and even gave me referrals to places that do accept Ahcccs.

This is the best clinic I've worked with. In mental health you often have to jump around providers to find one who is human and gives good service. Desert Health has been kind, timely and efficient. Mrwah, my dr, is understanding, she truly listens and tries to connect with you. She has even made time for last minute appointments when I truly needed it. I appreciate her and her team, they all work very well.

I have been a patient for at about 5 years, I have seen Dr Treush who provided excellent care. The last couple of years Mrwah Ahmad PA has been taken care. The care that I ha e received from Mrwah, A. PA has been amazing, she takes the time to listen, provides care with empathy and compassion. Mrwah, PA makes sure I am taking the appropriate medications, suggest changes, asks for my opinion, and suggests adjustments before actually applying them. She is a 5 star
The reason I am giving the clinic 3 stars is because of the clerk staff. Not all of the staff assisting with schedule, billing, etc are rude, but in my experience 90% of the time I call and a clerk is assisting me is a bad experience. They are rude, every question they answer with, "you have to wait until your appointment " which sometimes is not until 2 or 3 months. The clerks do not listen, they do not care about the patients, have no customer service at all, they are there just to collect a paycheck. The clerks make this clinic and the amazing physicians, PA, NPs look bad. I hope this changes soon.
