Vanica Caswell has truly one of the kindest hearts. She actually listens to you and helps find the right solutions for your care. She deserves 10 Stars⭐️ Her assistant Alecid is also awesome⭐️. The only draw back is some of the other staff, clerical, and procedures can be a bit frustrating at times. This seems to be consistent with most medical offices today.

We have been using this office for 3 years. Recently, we received letters informing us that, because we are snowbirds, they would never provide services to us unless we changed our Medicare Supplement insurance to Medicare Advantage. Nikki Britt, their alleged Patient Relations Manager, told us the company has decided they would only services if we changed to Medicare Advantage, telling us that was a Medicare requirement. I looked up the relevant information on Medicare.org which clearly states that there is no such requirement. Additionally, we feel that Ms. Britt treated us shabbily, never looking us in the eye while she prepared her tea, and dismissed with us disrespectful "that just the way it is." While the receptionists, doctors and nurses and staff are great, Ms. Britt should not have the patient facing job that she has. We will no longer refer people to this clinic.

I finally found a family doctor that does a thorough medical exam. Dr. Miller has a great beside manner. Also, the staff are very nice, which helps make you feel comfortable. They explained my blood work in detail and what the numbers mean.
If you are an older adult, I highly recommend Oak Street Health on Golf Links!

Worst experience ever making a pt wait more than 1 week for urine results due to possible uti infection. Had the audacity to call for urine test repeat with no explanation of why. I had to be seen at the emergency room with no response from anyone. Definitely changing PCP.

First impressions are important because they set the tone, especially for a brand spanking new patient appointment. Made a first time appointment for my mom to establish geriatric primary care. Michelle greeted me on the phone and while multitasking to get us set-up, she made the call personal. "Is your week going okay?" We bantered and laughed and Michelle didn't rush us through. She never used the words "real quick." Michelle got it right, quality of time crunch, personalized attention over business sales, ensuring accuracy along the way, reiterating the information to ensure we had it right. Yes, if Michelle is the book-cover, we gladly judge the entire book with a 5-star look ahead of time. THIS 5-star review all goes to her for keeping it human and making us feel real, not just as one in a million. Looking forward to meeting you.

My visit to Oak Sreet Health was unlike anything that I have experienced in many years. … in a positive manner. 🤩
The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Everyone took their time to explain the process. The visit was very organized. A person for the business end of things. A person that handles the intake…. (I wasn’t just handed a clipboard with multiple pages to fill out). .. then the nurse practitioner came in with a scribe. She was very attentive, professional and personable. She took her time. These days… a medical visit feels like cattle being herded. It was a pleasant change 😊

I was very surprised when I walked in. It was very. Bright lots of windows. Everyone was welcoming , knowledgeable, glad to see you, not kept waiting long. Everything is explained to you, told me their names and who they worked with. I was very impressed with operation. Looking forward to working with Dr Miller. It is nice to be informed where we are going and kept in the loop along the way andI am part of my team.

As you can see I really like my GP, Dr Miller and the facility overall. The reason I can't do all 5 stars is there is no patient portal. This is 2024 what's up with that? I have to contact a third party to get any info regarding my account.
