I've always had decent Doctors and Nurse Practitioners with MHC offices across the board. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because EVERYONE has room for improvement. I can't think of anything right off hand so MHC is going to need to do some honest self evaluation. I'm sure that everyone can think of something, even if it's small, where they could improve in their work and profession. Overall, everyone at MHC, from the front desk back has treated me respectfully and in a professional manner. Definitely a nice change from the norm.

Place is a joke. Can't ever get through on the phone and when you do they disconnect and a other 40 minutes hold. If you're more than 2 minutes late to appointment you have to reschedule and they dont bridge medication. Pile of crap establishment. No wonder mental health is crap in this town they dont care.

Unfortunately the customer service I received from check in was not what I expected. When I arrived staff member Alondra was using their cellphone and did not act knowledge my presence or offer assistance I had to approach staff. It was quite dismissive in their manner, which made my experience feel unprofessional and frustrating. While she was asking me for my name and DOB she was extremely rude and not attentive. I want to share my feedback so that future interactions may be more positive for other patients.

Had to reschedule an appointment due to an emergency, 6 months for a dental exam that's INSANE! And very unprofessional staff!

I went there two times before changing doctors because each time I went, I waited for 2 hours while fasting after my scheduled appointment. The people seem very nice, but the waits are just too much.

Such a horrible experience. Everyone was nice until they hired new front desk. The lady with glasses at the front was extremely rude and was giving me another price than the initial price i was suppose to pay. I tried asking how come it was more if I was told to pay a certain price and she couldn’t explain to me where the rest of the money she was charging me for was coming from. She embarrassed me in front of the whole lobby asking me if I don’t even have $500 to pay upfront now. That how come I can’t even pay that if she was charging me cheap. That I would need to pay $500 now then $370 in two days. I told her I didn’t have that type of money that I only had what they told me and she got super mad when I told her to cancel my appointment because I didn’t have the money.

Everyone is awesome once you get called in, from lab tech to my nurse practitioner. But the front, check in personal is not very professional. This is the second time they mess up my appointment. Once they gave me an appointment card but never put it in the system. I missed half of day of work because of that. Then I get a call reminder with wrong hour. This caused me to be in waiting room for over two hours. Another time they forgot to put in all my insurance information correctly and this caused me to get a bill. I had to call insurance to get that settled. Consequence of my wait, i got to see why they mess up information. All 4 ladies in front are on their cell phones, got to hear personal baby daddy stories, that they are going to horse races, plus more. I know they have down time but when they are with a patient they must pay attention to what they are doing. There was a moment where there was a patient waiting in line for a few minutes and they were so busy on cell phone. I like the attention I get once I'm in that I drive 20 minutes to get here but personal upfront need more training.

Amazing facility! I hated El Rio. Here we are treated with dignity and listened to. Also, has everything we need basically to stay healthy.
