I had a zoom appointment with Dr. Birnbaum to discuss a concerning result from a blood test. She was very compassionate and understanding about the anxiety I am feeling .Very knowledgeable, but also honest about that my issue is not her area of expertise and referring me to a specialist . I did not feel rushed at all, and she was very open to answering any questions or concerns I might have. I felt seen, heard and understood. I would highly recommend Dr. Nina Birnbaum to anyone who needs any medical help. She is a very smart, very compassionate human being.

Dr. Birnbaum is a unicorn of a provider. She’s excellent at listening, empathetic, thorough, warm, and knowledgeable. She’s been my doctor for over 10 years and I’ve resisted switching to Kaiser insurance just so I can keep seeing her. She’s helped me with mental and physical health challenges related to hormones and gut health.
