I was initially reluctant to switch my insurance from BCBS to LA Care, but after finding Dr. Ngo Phan with LA Care, I’m so glad I took the leap!

I was a bit hesitant because the office is older and not as fancy as some places, but the care I’ve received has been outstanding. Dr. Phan’s NPs are incredibly caring, attentive, and helpful, making sure all my concerns are addressed.

Having been with a PPO at Cedars Sinai for as long as I can remember, I was nervous about moving to an HMO. However, they’ve gone above and beyond by working with my insurance to get my medication covered for significantly less than what I was paying before. They’re also making sure all my referrals to specialists are handled properly.

I couldn’t have found a better practice for my care, and I’m very happy with the decision to switch. I highly recommend Dr. Phan and his team!

This doctor seems to be always not in the office. He doesn't return your call. The last few days, no one has answered the phone.

My whole family has been going to Dr.Phan for YEARS.... We would never go ANYWHERE else! I HIGHLY recommend this office! Jenna always goes above and beyond and truly cares for all her patients...Jan also is amazing and caring! My mom was diagno with Cancer a year ago and Dr.Phans office and exceeded in her care! I honestly can say that I've never had a better Dr. Office and Im truly grateful we found them!!

They are really friendly. Nice, cozy, office.

My only complaint is that, for whatever reason, they often struggle to respond to my pharmacist when I need prescription refills. Calling them (the office) it's also hit or miss on if I will get my refills called into the pharmacy in time.

Dr. Ngo Phan is my primary provider for the last couple of years. They are resourceful, patient, and knowledgeable any time I visit. It is so easy to make an appointment and never have a wait time. Everyone who works here is always super friendly and always tries to help in whatever way they can, strongly recommend it!

ok, I was quick to judge with my review of 1 then 2 stars, originally I was very upset with the way I was treated, still doesn’t excuse the actions of the front desk, but my nurse practitioner was amazing. She doesn’t fit in with the rest of the rude people working here, she went out of her way to treat me with compassion and made me want to come back for treatment. She’s only there Monday’s, I can’t remember her name but I’m so happy she works here otherwise I’d never step foot in here again.
This was my original review-Was not allowed to enter the building because of my vaccination status, after I asked permission to enter, I was givin my new patient paperwork and asked to leave the building and wait outside. The paperwork is so sloppy, not only poorly copied but is not legible. When I tried to address it to a staff member they dismissed the fact that I was talking and walked away. So far everyone I’ve been in contact with has been unprofessional and rude.
Update-changed from 1 to 2 stars because the woman who came and took my vitals was very kind.

Dr. Ngo Phan is primary provider for my family. My family feel blessed under his care. It is so easy to make appointment, and their team really spends time to listen and answer pt’s concerns. Plus, the doctor and NPs really did their assessment before diagnosing any medical conditions. My dad is heavy smoker, I tried to convince him to quit smoking but not successful. Jena, NP spent her time almost an hour to explain the risk of smoking, and offering Nicotine patch to cut down the craving gradually. Now, my dad only smokes one or 2 cigarettes per day.

Doctor Phan seems a nice guy but his staffs are the worst people. They mostly are so rude and importantly they don't know what they are doing. They are bad at keeping their promise. For instance, on Nov7th, and Nov 8th, I called to the office to ask online submission for the doctor's note. Having long discussion and waiting on the line, one of the staffs called me that I would receive the doctor's note via email on Nov8th. However, they have never sent me the doctor's note and I have missed my blood test for an urgent medical condition.

If you are looking for a professional and a serious medical staff, I highly recommend somebody else.
