I recently visited the Herald Christian Health Center in San Gabriel for my mother’s ER follow-up, and the experience was far from satisfactory. The front desk staff member, who did not understand English, was so rude and unprofessional.

Moreover, they wanted to scheduled my mother’s emergency follow-up appointment 3 weeks which was unacceptable They also mentioned that the doctor only works half days and that appointments are primarily with physician assistants. This raises serious concerns about the adequacy of care provided when a doctor is not present.

I am deeply concerned about the lack of urgency and empathy shown by the staff. This experience has left me questioning the quality of care at this facility.

This organization's staff exhibit poor manners toward the community. Despite over a decade passing since my last visit, I've noticed a decline rather than improvement in their conduct.

The tax services department, in particular, has shown unprofessionalism, fostering a condescending environment by phrasing questions to belittle those seeking assistance. For instance, when I sought simple clarification and explained my understanding, they responded dismissively, insinuating ignorance on my part.

Another staff member worsened the situation by escalating tensions, shouting demands at an already offended and frustrated visitor. The confrontation reached a peak when this staff member yelled, 'Don't set foot in this building!' and threatened police intervention. Such authoritative behavior in a place meant to serve the community is concerning. It's shameful that they utilize government grants to treat community members as inferior.

This behavior is immediately offensive, and while I typically overlook minor slights, this attitude is unacceptable. I encourage those who experience or witness such behavior to speak up and address it formally within the organization.

I would like to express my appreciation to Herald Christian Health Center covid-19 vaccination team. Although it might take a little while waiting for my call to get through to make appointment, I understand the vaccination team was under extreme pressure to accommodate n all incoming calls. From my experience, I did receive the team’s responses to my questions even after office hours, that meant they worked late into evenings. I even received one return call from the team on Sunday around 9:30 pm. Even though I told the team lady I got my question solved, the lady double checked to see if I received my confirmation of the date, time and location of the vaccination appointment. I thanked her for the return call as I felt she was about to lose her voice because her voice was so coarse, she just politely said “no need to thank me, I am just doing my job.” At the appointment, the team was so well organized and courteous, it only took less than half an hour to complete the vaccination shot. Once again, thank you.

Extremely dog-hated. I took my SERVICE dog with me and they kept me to stay outside and did my annual physical check ON PHONE just because someone is afraid of dog. I understand you don't like dogs but I can't accept you kicked me out and did this to me and my SERVICE dog！

I went here for a tooth ache. I was told there was no major issues, just inflammation. Dr rinsed the area and sent me on my way. A few weeks later, my insurance company is requesting an explanation of services rendered because they billed them for an emergency palliative treatment! She literally rinsed above my tooth with cleaning solution! If for some reason this isn't resolved and I am billed I'm suing them! SCAMMERS!!!

I love this place ! Everyone here is very friendly and patient of all my visits . They serve the community and poor with love. They're like the salt and light in the world . Thank you for the good work !

I used to go to this clinic and it was the best! They helped me in so many ways iIhad a broken arm and at the time no insurance and i got the best care! And so many more things than just that.. best docter care I have ever had. I moved but I'd still go.. if I hadnt.
