Horrible staff! The nurses don’t deserve to be called nurses. Instead they should be called babysitters. Disgusting food makes T.V. Dinners look like fine dining. Poor facilities, both inside and outside. This place should be shut down and quarantined. A hospital is somewhere to be taken care of not somewhere you dread waking up to. - 4 stars.

I was recently here for 12 days. I won’t disclose my medical history. But Barese, DR. Marsha , Patrick, Almar, Ms Dorothy, Eric, Brandon,& Sonia & many more were very good to me. If u wanna help yourself I’d suggest here. More freedoms & privileges. Thank you Nicholas Ziegler…… Bless you all.

Please do not put anyone you care about here, it's a horrible place, the staff is mean. You have no power of attorney to do anything. They drugged my husband so much that they made him worse, he has dementia not mentally insane. He could not speak, he fell cause he could not stand up, they filled him with drugs and lied to me, they don't let you speak to anyone,a social worker did not speak to me for 6 days. This place is bad. If my child or loved one worked here then they have issues too. Nobody has feelings here, very abusive. Reporting them, this is what are wonderful state of California does to people then tosses them on the street. No wonder we have so much homelessness, As a wife and a person who loves her husband don't let the state put your spouse or child here, it's just as bad as prison. He was on the floor with a mattress and nothing else. I was not allowed to bring my phone in to take pictures, i brought a friend the next time to have a witness.I had no rights even as his power of attorney. This was worse then a prison. . Hopefully I get this out there and they get shut down even the doctor's there have terrible reviews. they don't care about people. So so sad, the worst journey I have been on.

It is really one of the worst places I have ever seen, my daughter was there and the first day I went to visit her they had given her medicine that began to swell her mouth and tongue, she could no longer speak and until I arrived and demanded They did it and gave her something for her allergies, she is not used to taking medicine and if I had not arrived, I don't know what would have happened, the nurses don't care about the patients, the social worker never answered me and not to mention of psychiatrists. They should close this place.

Awful place. My son was placed here on a 5150 which we thought would help him. Nothing could be further from the truth. He was medicated to zombie status, not given food we brought him and only allowed outside to the caged patio if he smoked. He had never smoked but they handed out cigarettes like candy! He started self harming and they didn't even notice! The 'social worker' was particularly useless and refused to come and talk to us. Would NEVER send anyone here again!

This place in a Embarrassment to US Health Care. A family member was recently admitted for a really bad anxiety attack and I had to deal with the following:
He started vomiting blood after the first day and a physician didn't see him until 2 days into his stay.
It took 3 days for him to see a actual psychiatrist who woke him at 4 in the morning for a session.
In trying to find out details about his diagnosis i was forwarded to a case officer who treated me rudely and didn't get back to me for 4 days after leaving close to a dozen calls.
Their own staff came off as lazy and rude who treated me and my family member like rude fast food customers.
If you are dying and this place is your option, I think death would be a better experience. DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU LOVE GO HERE.

Supervisor lady I'm charge at night shift very unprofessional very rude!' Place is not well taken care by the staff patients that are there are not well taken care at all saw one patient with not proper clothes and the males and females are mix together very dirty place !!! Lari the supervisor on duty yelled at me when I was trying to explain my concerns as mother of a patient there !!

My sister has been here since Wednesday and it is now Saturday. This is a very frightening time for my family, and so far LADMC is making this process a little easier. We call every day to check up on her progression and we have not felt once like we are being an inconvenience to the nurses, much like we felt at other "county locations ". We understand that it must be extremely difficult to work in a place like this so we truly appreciate them taking the time to answer our questions and are sensitive to our, and my sisters needs. I will finish this review upon my sisters discharge to complete this review.
