Dr. Joy is the best doctor that I've ever had and his staff is great as well, they all go that extra mile and remember what's been going on with you and your personal affairs. Which shows me that they care about their patients. They really do a great job and go out of their way to make sure that they do their job to the best of their ability and more to ensure that your experience is not just a doctor's visit but more than that. I give the Oso Family Team two thumbs up for their customer satisfaction and care as well as their knowledgeable treatments and medical expertise in the field of Medicine. I've had nothing but good experiences with the staff and the doctors. The after hours urgent care staff is also very good at what they do. So I highly recommend this office as a great choice for your medical treatment and primary care physician. Had to go to the urgent care office in Mission Viejo last Sunday due to a fall I had experienced. We arrived at 9 am checked in and waited over 30 minutes before being brought back to an examination room. The staff didn’t arrive when the office opened up at 9. We waited another 30 minutes for a medical person to show up and see me. There was a lot of questions asked, but no real exam. I was given a lab form to have an X-ray but this facility didn’t have the equipment to do it on site. I’ve never gone to an urgent care that didn’t do their own X-rays. Monday I had the X-rays taken at another facility that was on the approved list. After not hearing anything about the results by Friday, I called and was told that the results did come in a couple of days earlier and they would have the doctor look at them and someone would call me back later. No one called! I called again on Saturday and spoke to Christina, she told me that she would have the doctor on duty look at this and she would call me back. Because of her efficiency, she called me back a little later. I have a fracture on my foot that I have been suffering with for over a week. Christina got the authorization for me to see a foot doctor and made sure everything was done properly. If it wasn’t for her, I maybe still waiting. The only reason I gave this place three stars is because of Christina other wise I would have given them only one star. Sure wish I could go to another urgent care office but it’s the only one that my group has in our area.

I have been this location three times and never waited longer than 20 minutes. The team that works here is exceptionally professional and very friendly. Last time I dealt with Melissa and she could have not been any nicer. This is the best urgent care I have been to and my father is in the Medical Profession and knows a good medical staff when I=he sees one and works with them. He likes this team at this location!

The Doctors and PA's are great and are available by appointment. They are an Urgent Care but I haven't used them for this.
HOWEVER, it takes over 15 minutes to pierce the wait-clock in order to talk with a real person. 4 times in past year, I have experienced longer waits, but get ready to spend at least 15 minutes to talk with someone.

OptumCare Medical Group is a very clean and professional medical office. I drive about 45 minutes each way to see Dr. Fightlin. I would drive any amount of time to be able to see Dr. Fightlin. I have followed Dr. Fightlin now for over twenty years for her excellent care, and knowledge of medicine. Dr. Fightlin is one of the best doctors that I've been lucky enough to be a patient of. My own brother is a trauma and heart anesthesiologist, thus I've been trained to recognize excellent doctors like Dr. Fightlin.

Money > Patients (Read on if that matters to you)

I was a patient of Oso Family Medical for many years. But not as of 2014, when they decided to not take any coverage associated with Covered California. That is not what my 1 star review is regarding. It is how they handled it, when they clearly showed it was more important to save a few dollars instead of doing what is best for patients.

In the 2014 my wife became a patient of the office. We had Covered CA when we selected them as her doctor. There was no problem initially. But then my wife got sick in November, throwing up and other stuff. We took her to the doctor as you typically with these types of things. She needed to see the doctor.

When we arrived I filled out her paperwork and returned it to the desk. Several minutes passed by and I was called back to the desk, only to be informed that they no longer took any insurance with Covered CA. I told them we hadn't received any notice. Her response was that they had no way to notify people with specific coverage. So rather than notifying everyone they simply waited to turn people away. That is POOR care of patients. They cared more about saving a few dollars than the people they've "supposedly" committed to helping.

You would think that a doctor's office would be interested in informing people that they would no longer be willing to see patients so those patients could find new doctors. But I guess not with this office, which is sad.

My husband arrived 5 minutes before closing and they took him right in for a cut finger. They were kind and friendly and helpful. He had already gone to another UC that was a bit closer, AFC, and was told it would take too long and to go the ER. OptumCare was great and we will definitely go there again.
