I scheduled an online appointment with St. Jude Urgent Care for within the hour but was delayed by 30 minutes because I was across the street speaking with my mom’s doctor in the emergency room about her status. When I arrived, I explained my situation to the front desk staff, but they showed no empathy and informed me they would not honor my appointment time. Instead, I was told I would now have to wait two hours to be seen—all while my mom was still in the emergency room.

I understand policies are in place for a reason, but a little compassion and understanding would have gone a long way in this stressful situation.

This is my go-to place when bad things happen outside of office hours. The staff is excellent, the lobby is clean, the bathrooms are clean.
Sometimes the wait is longer than you'd like.
Give them some credit as providing good care for the person in front of you takes time.
The person who schedule the staff does not have a crystal ball to tell them how many medics to have on any specific shift.
Be nice. Say thank you as you leave!

This is my go to Urgent Care. Nice clean lobby with a security guard. Some of the medical assistants aren't very nice. There's only one doctor I don't like there and you can request not to see a particular doctor if you choose to do so. Huge parking lot so ample spaces to park.

Made an online appointment, showed up, and was shown a room in about 20 minutes. Vitals taken in about 5 minutes. Waited for about 40 minutes before the PA came in. Seen for 10 minutes. Then done. Medication was sent to the pharmacy of my choice.

I went with my 6yo son , he got injured under the chin. They made us wait for 2 hours, people after us were also being seen. When we asked , they said they were waiting on procedure room. The nurse checked the vitals and Dr came in few minutes later. She was so much in hurry , didn’t inspect the wound and wanted to glue his wound. I asked her to check it again as I saw black debris inside the wound earlier. On close inspection, she found a big piece of black tar from the road stuck in there, what a negligence on her part. What if it was left behind , it would cause infection and health risk for my little boy. VERY INEFFICIENT AND NEGLIGENT!

This place is horrible. I had to go to the e.r. a couple months ago I had a acute pancreatitis and I was in agonizing pain, but the staff was horrible,. I got really mistreated and discriminated . hopefully authorities would get involved if more despicable acts against others patients happens as it happened to me. 👎👎

I came in two days before thanksgiving with my son. We are both sick. We have both been sick for about a week with no signs of getting better. I am in my forties now and don’t fight things off like I used to.

After a 3 hour visit they won’t prescribe antibiotics. They have access to all our records there. They know we get them at most twice a year. It’s not like we abuse them. It’s just frustrating that we have to prove them that we are ‘sick enough’. I already know how this story ends. I will have the same symptoms a month from now without antibiotics. Now my son and I have to be quarantined during thanksgiving.

I HATE this song and dance they put us through. Either be honest about your symptoms or tell them everything hurts a 10/10 so you can actually get the medicine you need.

I’m frustrated today, but this is not the only time I have been completely disregarded by a Dr or a pa there. This place is close by and in our network, but I may just need to start avoiding this place.
