Hi! So recently I have started to return to in person therapy, for personal reasons. My family uses an HSA card to pay for any medical copayments and require I get a detailed receipt. I have been to Kaiser for in-person therapy, urgent care, and labs. All of these appointments have required a copayment of “x” dollars. I always ask the receptionist for a detailed receipt and have received it, with no problem. Presently, I have had two encounters in the behavioral health building where a lady was helping me sign in, but could not give me a detailed receipt. She sits on the left side, walking towards the front desk. She also always has a mask on. The first time I had an issue getting the correct receipt, I was running late, which was my fault. I signed in and asked for a detailed receipt and she originally gave me the one receipt with the payment information. I know there is always a second paper, this has the medical provider I am seeing written out. I don’t like confrontation, but last time I decided to give up on getting the receipt, I got in trouble because those papers are important for tax information. So I notified the receptionist that there was normally two papers and she tried to help me, but printed a screenshot of what was seen on her side of the computer, to check me into my appointment. Once her screenshots printed she proceeded to get a sharpie and cross out her name on both papers that printed. My therapist happened to walk into that encounter and I gave up. The receptionist clearly didn’t understand what I was asking for. I notified my therapist of encounter and the issue at the front desk. My therapist said she would help me get the right receipt. She also asked me if she could keep the screenshots for teaching purposes. I gave my consent, in hope that the next time the receptionist would be coached on what the client needs. A nice gentleman helped me get the correct paper and I was able to confirm with my therapist that these are the papers I needed. Last week on April 4, I had another weekly scheduled appointment with my therapist that morning. I checked in as usual and asked for a detailed receipt. The same receptionist with the mask that sat on the left side walking in, gave me the exact same screenshot and blacked out her name with sharpie once again. Only this time, instead of giving me both papers printed, I only received the first, while the other was discarded in a white bin. I gave up and decided I would ask my therapist to help me get the paper I needed. Once I went in to my appointment I immediately notified her of the same issue from the week prior and we walked to the back where the same gentleman who helped me the week prior sat in his office. He was able to print me the paper I needed and I continued with my appointment. I am writing this review in hopes that the employees can be trained on printing detailed receipts and so I don’t have to stress about getting in trouble for not being able to obtain the documents needed for tax purposes.

I just had an amazing experience in this visit. I met this beautiful, nice and sweet Nurse that she welcomed me very warmly in polite and very attentive. we need more people like her. I’m sure everybody’s trying to do their best for the public . Im pleased and thankful for this amazing person who helps me and provided an excellent service. Thank you so much.

Very best part about Kaiser is the doctors and the staff. They are all amazing. The worst part is the policy's! They change weekly when you are picking up medication.
So frustrating to use the on line app as that changes often too. Other then that many wonderful people who are just following protocol.

Have been with arm pain for over 3 months, tried physical therapy and no success my doctor was sent a message to schedule something different 3 weeks ago and no one has reached out to me. Tried the appointment center and could not reach a live person. I am in constant pain and no help.

Psychiatry is called "behavior health " like their goal is to make you act normal. The staff is exemplary , but management insists on keeping their time impacted. Management tells you to go outside of their system if you need real help. They're only for drug, alcohol, anger management. I'm getting excellent PTSD help but the lack of appointment times is agonizing! I can imagine someone going out shooting in frustration and they can't change their ridged system to help the person. I give staff 5 🌟, for management ZERO!

Took my son there for an appointment and we were checked in quickly, spent 2 minutes in the waiting room and was seen by his doctor right away. The nurses and doctor couldn't have been friendlier. The Pharmacy was packed so I thought we were going to be in there for a while. Nope! They had a tremendous amount of staff on hand! In and out in 10 minutes.

Job well done KP! I will definitely be going back there!
