The Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) in my opinion is generally is 5 star. The PAMF Westside Center is no exception. If you have an appointment at the clinic, wait times are short and, the staff are highly competent and courteous. I've only used the urgent care at the Westside Center once and that too was of 5 star quality.

I have been going to this clinic for many years and I have never been treated badly. A warm welcome, quick check in, friendly physician assistants, and my excellent primary care doctor, Dr.Ponnuswamy.
I have a lot of complicated health issues and she refers me when needed plus she follows up by actually talking to the specialist so she can expand on what the specialist is talking about. Professional respectful service is all I have ever received. I often wonder if people who leave terrible reviews treated the staff with respect.

Haven't ever waited for longer than 10 minutes. Really great service and overall friendly environment. If you're covered with insurance, this is one of the best complexes to affiliate with - they have everything you might ever need, and you will most likely never be referred to a third party provider.

"This is the worst medical facility that I have ever been to." The facility is really shady in the way they handle your insurance. The front desk will take your insurance card for a couple minutes to scan a copy and then they will return it quickly to you and tell you that they do take your insurance without even looking into your plan. They will tell you that you are covered and not to worry even if the doctors you are seeing are out of your network. Dr Houlahan is a horrible primary care doctor who must have been a C student who barely graduated from Med School. He misdiagnosed my health problem and gave me the wrong medication that caused my body to have a bad reaction with serious consequences. I received a huge bill from this clinic in the mail of 8500 dollars finding out that none of the doctors were in my network including my primary care doctor.This clinic reminds me of the underhanded people who work at a used car lot with fake smiles that scam anyone for money with no integrity. This kind of shady insurance practice should be outlawed.

Their blood lab has an unposted monthly meeting (during their lab hours), and if you show up before the meeting, they will turn you away. I walked over there, and I have a newborn at home. I told them this, but they did not care. I watched three of them (including the manager) bolt out of their lab at 11:53 to avoid me, right after the receptionist kindly asked if they could see me. Apparently, their top priority is not to help their patients, but to go to a meeting.

Avoid trying to get seen at this blood lab, if you can. It could be a huge inconvenience. They don't care to keep to their posted hours.

I doubt the "owner" will respond to this review, since it looks like he/she only responds to the positive reviews on this site. It doesn't say much for the professionalism of this clinic.

These doctors have no idea what they're doing! They kept running a series of expensive exams but in the end I wasn't even given a diagnosis. The worst part is that now I'm left with a huge medical bills to pay and that's all because they told me that my insurance was covering this, but it was a damn lie. I've never been so upset in my life and I highly suggest everyone to stay away from this horrible clinic!

0 communication. I have been 2 weeks without meds I have taken for 8 years. 6 calls to nice office staff who promised resolution and never called back. Numerous faxes sent by pharmacy with 0 response. I don't know if it is Dr. Houlahan or office staff but this is the place for you if you like merciless bureaucracy.

Dr. Keene and his team are competent and thorough. During my last Dr. Keene went above and beyond to address my health questions and concerns. Not once did I feel rushed or just another patient to be seen.
