Very unprofessional and unhelpful customer service! HealthNet, please hire US based customer service agents. I am beyond frustrated because every time that I call, a foreign person who barely speaks English takes my call, and I can barely understand what they're saying. This is not helpful at all and very frustrating when you're trying to get help or to make changes to your insurance plan in order to get much needed medical care. Please hire professional customer service agents who have been properly trained and can actually help your members.

This review is specifically for Health Net Dental customer service. I called today, April 2, 2025 during the afternoon. The lady who answered the phone was obviously working from home, which I have nothing against. However, one must be professional when working from home. I could hear a child crying at first, then a loud tv and kids playing in the background. She was very unfriendly, rude, unprofessional, and rushing through the call.

So far so good transferred to their insurance group and they have been very helpful and always answer all my questions and will go out the way to help me with any issue I have am glad I switched over.

not rteally sure yet seems to be ok in some regards but lacking in many others, have not experienced any other medical ins. co. so hard to make an assesment ,seems though far more negative reviews than positive ones , makes you wonder .

I was forced to leave my existing healthcare plan due to Covered California and ended up trying HealthNet. Upon transferring to HealthNet it has been problem after problem with getting any kind of care. All of the doctors I was assigned either do not practice with HealthNet or do not practice the advertised medicine listed on their website. The information listed on the website has been inaccurate every step of the way and any help from customer service is inept.

This is one of the worst experiences I have had trying to get medical care. I cannot express in words how unsatisfactory this service is.

Made a horrible choice to go with HealthNet via Covered California. I am a retiree who cannot afford COBRA. HealthNet of Long Beach (Signal Hill) has ineffective customer service. Poor communication unless you speak Spanish. Everything from their website to their online "options" is a joke. I was hounded to sign up for my plan provider which I am unable to do until HealthNet assigns me an ID number. No ID cards unless you request them. You cannot print temporary ID cards from their website, even though there is a link to doing so. The doctor I have had for eons is listed on the HealthNet website as a participating physician so I signed up for her. I find out from the doctor's office that they have not been accepting HealthNet plans since last year so I am unable to see my physician. When I contact HealthNet about this, I am questioned like a criminal: "why didn't you confirm with your doctor's office that they were still in the plan? I'm sure your doctor's office did not contact HealthNet to advise us of their decision to drop HealthNet coverage", etc. Zero attempt at helping me; you are to blame, not HealthNet. Even when I went back online to sign up for another provider (my doctor's are still listed with HealthNet as a participating provider), you must check off on a reason why you are switching providers; all but one blames you, the member.

Run, do not walk, away from HealthNet.

It's so hard to get service from Health Net
, and to make an appointment with your doctor is impossible. I have been trying to get an appointment for the last 120 days.
