I had an appointment with Dr. David Kim on the 3rd floor of Hollywood CHA Hospital, and I want to express my sincere gratitude to Nurse E (I believe her name started with E) and the entire staff who assisted me throughout the process. She was wearing Prada glasses, which might help identify her.

As soon as my room was assigned, Nurse E thoughtfully provided a hot press pack, making me feel more comfortable right away. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly attentive, ensuring that every detail was carefully checked.

The surgical team, including the nurses and doctors, was exceptionally kind. One of the surgical nurses, whose name I can’t recall, had strong hands and white nail polish—I remember having a conversation with her that left a strong impression.

Also, the doctor who treated me was a woman with short hair. She reassured me by calling me “Sweety,” which made me feel safe and cared for.

Throughout my experience, I truly felt that every medical professional in this hospital was dedicated to patient care. Their teamwork and compassion were evident in every interaction.

I am deeply grateful for the outstanding care I received and highly recommend this hospital. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness and professionalism!👍👍

The ER here is good as far as I know. Been here twice and the staff is respectful. Particularly Milton, Kelsey, and Taiyesha. The first time I was here I was in and out. Second time was a three hour wait for a minor situation. Wait time was insane for something that took five minutes to take care of. The bathrooms could use some updating. But aside from that, staff is respectful.

When I went in for surgery, my partner lost my family heirloom ring here. It was a rose gold/copper colored band with a clear stone and black marking in the center. It was the only precious object in my life. If you ever see it, please try to find me or post about it here.

I visited the ER today after cutting my finger, and I was really impressed with the care I received. The staff was quick, professional, and kind, making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. They treated my injury efficiently and answered all my questions with patience. I’m grateful for their excellent care — it made a stressful situation much easier to handle. Nurses are 10/10-- delivered both of my babies and I am so grateful for them. However, billing department SUCKS. Be prepared to get a bill 1.5 years later-- absolutely ridiculous and they need to be more organized and do more quality control. It's March of 2025 and I got a bill from December2023-- I have no words other than I guess I should expect a bill in 2027... so appalling..

I was admitted here due to my insurance and the 5 days I spent at this hospital were horrible. The staff was very hit or miss - while a few were kind to me, many were rude, inattentive, would not listen to what I was saying, or would neglect to provide me with medication (for things like intense pain) until I called multiple times. The few times I felt I was being heard were when either my friend or relatives advocated for me during visiting hours. I was told how my condition, which I've been living with for over a year, "works" by a nurse when I told her I was having a flareup. She had no idea what my day-to-day lived experience was but decided to act like she knew anyway.

There were two nurses in particular, though - I wish I remembered their names - who were exceptionally caring and kind. And those two I will commend.

I need to make it known, though, that I was sent home with a "guess" of a diagnosis. Not a confirmed one, a "guess" at what I had, with my results still pending. I asked if I could receive an email, call, or text with the information and was told, "Oh, we don't do that here." What kind of hospital can't provide me with a simple *e-mail* telling me my results?

This is the state of American Healthcare, everyone. A shrug from a doctor you get to speak to for 30 seconds and an "I dunno, but we think you have Mono. We're not gonna let you know if you do, though, you have to ask the records department"

I couldn't even have Ibuprofen - only Tylenol - meaning that my pain was only subdued by about half most of the time. They opted to give me Opiods that didn't work on me instead.

I eventually started to break into erratic, violent coughing fits that wouldn't stop and I begged them for something as simple as OTC cough syrup. "It has to be approved by your doctor" was something I got to constantly hear. It was awesome.

I also couldn't sleep, because every few hours someone would come in to take my vitals, my blood, do *something*, and I was sleep-deprived my entire stay. They treated me like a pincushion with the amount of blood tests they did. I'm surprised I didn't leave anemic.

The diagnosis they guessed I had was something that could've been swabbed. But no, they wanted more blood, more pokes into my already bruised arms. "We don't do the swab here". Are you serious?

How can a place be so incompetent. I'm genuinely baffled.

My elderly mother was brought into the emergency room here for her extremely high fever due to the UTI.
They immediately treated her with the right medical procedure and saved her life.
The staff, doctors, nurses were very knowledgeable and kind to my mother and all other patients.
The facility was clean and modern, and most of all, I was impressed by all the professionals of different races cooperating each other smoothly for the one and only goal, to help patients’ wellbeing.
I highly recommend this hospital as a jewel of our beloved city, Los Angeles.

I'm so grateful for the whole staff who helped me at This Hospital. I felt horrible because of my surgery for a fibroid removal and the whole staff was incredibly Amazing!. Thank you so much for being so caring, Humble and most importantly making me feel so comfortable and keeping me as peaceful as i could. My Doctor, Norma Salceda was Amazing and her staff(Vilma was my Angel so caring and Christine always made sure i had no pain so sweet. Thank you Vilma, Christine, Reina, Alyssa,Loida, Jeannette and Rosie. You all made my stay so comforting. Thank you.
