The clinic that I am currently working with has referred numerous patients to Troy Medical in specialties for Endocrinology, Neurology and Rheumatology Their comments and results from their consultation and evaluation from the specialty providers of Troy Medical were unanimous! Each patient was relieved and content that they finally found someone who would listen to them, identify their problems and offer solutions on evidence based practices. From the moment Troy Medical receives a referral, they will get a call from Stephanie Thompson, the Director of Operations and she promptly and courteously coordinates their appt and treatment care with their provider. She is thorough, knowledgeable and professional with each call she conducts, ensuring that the patient has been fully educated on the visit and what they can expect post visit. I thought this telemedicine hybrid would be perfect for me to gain access to an Endocrinologist but after like 8 months I am DONE. I never get to see the same dr more than once, this third one only consents to see people a couple of hrs Mon/Wed/Fri and only in the morning, which is a tough time for me to leave work. Made appointment weeks ago for today and took a vacation day from work and they called me Wednesday afternoon to say the Dr was dropping my appointment. I told them I would be out of meds and they assured me they would call in a new script but they didn't and 2 days of unanswered calls and voicemails later, I took my last insulin shot this morning so this'll be fun.

Yes, They are telehealth which is why I was hesitant but I was very sick and sent urgently to Rheumatologist Dr. Hassan!
The other Rheumatologist I have had in the past ignored my symptoms and wouldn’t even look at pictures of my Skin rashes I had.
Dr. Hassan did and upon his review and further testing, I was diagnosed with a Rare Autoimmune disease called Clinically Amyopathic Dermatomyositis ! He started me on treatment promptly!
He is Well educated, listens to me and is thorough!
I will not see another Rheumatologist and I will follow him around on a computer for as long as I can!
Talen at the medical desk and Christiana the medical Nurse is super caring and is always on point with me! These people care and want to help!
