From the very first phone call it has been painful. Had to call twice to get documents sent correctly. Multiple front office staff are very rude, gave out medication advice and should never do that. Portal doesn’t work and no one returns phone calls from messages left. Doctor diagnosed and prescribed medication within 25 minutes of first meeting, which is very concerning that they are so quick to prescribe and not get to know patient especially when a patient isn’t a risk to themselves or anyone else. Do not recommend this place.

I do not recommend Ahwatukee Behavioral Health and Wellness. I sought continuation of care with Victoria Sanchez at this facility and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite being on the same medications for years, my prescriptions were repeatedly mishandled. The staff continually insisted they had sent my medications to the pharmacy, yet this was not the case.

Additionally, I was told I had failed to cancel an appointment despite following the portal's cancellation instructions. My short time there was marked by poor customer service and a general lack of care. This created a frustrating and unproductive environment, particularly challenging for someone managing mental health issues.

I suggest that the staff at Ahwatukee Behavioral Health and Wellness take responsibility for their system's shortcomings and improve their training, rather than placing blame on patients. Better accountability and a focus on patient care are essential for fostering a supportive and effective treatment environment.

Love, love, love this place. Dr Pacheco literally saved my life. Kerry & Candi make my appointments easy. Anytime I call in for an issue other than an appt, if they don't pick up the phone, they promptly get back to me.
Gina, the new Nurse Practioner is awesome as well.
Even Ken is a constant presence. It makes such a difference going somewhere where the same people are always there.
Their kindness & professionalism is such a gift to me.

I have been receiving care from ABHW for almost three years and again and again I am grateful for everything they’ve done and do for me.

From the moment you walk in the door to the minute you leave, you're treated with consideration, kindness and discretion. The front office works very hard to ensure my needs are met and my financial information is secure. Plus, they are great with scheduling!

Ms. Sanchez is not only a fantastic NP but she is also a kind and caring person. She has such an awesome background/knowledge with Behavioral Health and Care that you feel totally safe. I trust her, completely!

The front Office staff, especially the manager, Kerry Miller and Candy the nurse, are professional, friendly and very helpful. Dr. Pacheco Understands my pain medication addiction problems and has done me a lot of good in staying clean for the last almost 2 years. I just had the worst experience ever when I called this place to schedule an appointment for my husband, who had a stroke recently and couldn’t call the office to cancel the appointment he was unable to go. I understand the policy if you miss it and they can’t reschedule, but the lady who answered the phone started yelling at me and my husband who could barely speak, she wouldn’t even let me talk to explain the situation and she thrown on our faces we own them money (I was going to offer to pay for it but she was talking over me) she was literally screaming, really unprofessional and hung up on my face while I was still talking. I felt like trash and this experience really made me think what kind of people they hire to care for patients that are struggling with mental health.

Ever since the original owner left and they were purchased by another company they treat the patient like trash as most of us are used to being treated. Dr Pacheco is awesome I've seen him for 5 years never had a problem he'll talk to you for as long as you want. The new front desk staff are straight out of west phoenix urgent care they won't do anything more or less they are there to do bare minimum they don't even answer phone calls the only way you can speak with the lm now is to leave a message and maybes they'll call back every appointment is double booked if they can't schedule you in time they suggest you go to a urgent care Or hospital to deal with withdrawal symptoms. This is a deal breaker for anyone seeking help.

Thank you to AHC for helping my family member get free from depression and anxiety. It's a hard call to make but the person that answered was so nice and listened to everything that was going on. We got scheduled that week to be seen and then they did some type of testing to tell which antidepressants would work best. After a few months, my family member is in such a better place and I don't have to worry like I did before. Thank you Ahwatukee Health Care for the support we got from the staff to the providers!
