I had my gallbladder removed a week ago and the hospital advised to schedule a visit with a PCP for an annual exam since I was overdue. I just moved from TX in March and didn't have a PCP here so they referred me to this office. Today I went for my visit and saw a nurse practitioner Tammy. She was rude and my visit felt rushed. I informed her that I had been diagnosed with hypothyroidism 4-5 years ago but had ran out of my medicine about a year ago. The hospital had prescribed me some, but wanted me to follow up with a PCP. I told her that I was told that it puts me at risk of having high cholesterol but it has never been a concern on lab work in the past. She informed me that she didn't think I had hypothyroidism and that my cholesterol is probably high since I had my gall bladder removed and most likely eat a fatty diet. She made all of these assumptions without seeing any labs and I do not have a history of high cholesterol. I also informed her that I feel similar to how I felt prior to being diagnosed with hypothyroidism and she informed me I am probably just depressed. I asked her to look at my incision site from my surgery just to make sure it looked okay and she informed me that she wouldn't know what to look for since she isn't a surgeon - WHAT?! She asked if I had any questions but failed to listen to me and provide any answers. Instead she informed me that this was my first visit so we would just be establishing me as a patient and then I could come back in about 6 weeks and do labs and gave me a referral to a dermatologist. She told me to talk to the referral desk before leaving. I got up to get my purse and she was already out of the room. I walked out of the room and had no idea where to go. I saw her standing at a desk and walked and asked if that is where I was supposed to go - she said, no, over there and pointed to the other desk. Needless to say, I do not trust her to adjust any of my medications or provide any medical advice based off of my visit today and will not be going back. Nothing was accomplished and my time was completely wasted. Very unprofessional!

I've been trying to get my prescription filled for a month now. Every time I call they collect my info and tell me I'll get a call back from the medical assistant which I never do.
One time the nurse practitioner I see wasn't sure I was her patient (?!) they're very disorganized.
I also had a very bad experience with pap smear material being out of date and me having to go through it twice with no results due to their error. I'm very unhappy with this clinic.

Even as an established patient trying to schedule a routine yearly exam, it's impossible. 20min on hold, and a patient portal message that was completely ignored. Not worth my time to keep going here to get mediocre care.

Good luck getting anyone on the phone here. I should have read the reviews because apparently this is a huge issue with this office. It probably took me at least 10 different times calling to get someone at the front desk to make an appointment. When I did get an appointment I tried calling to get access to the patient portal for my test results and no one had answered my calls or responded to my messages, I was already on hold for 45 mins. I had to drive to the office because no one was picking up their phone. The front office staff are incompetent and unprofessional. You would think that they would read these reviews and want to do better but clearly no effort has been made so I will be finding another doctor

Absolutely the worst doctors office in Phoenix. They withheld my mom’s medication due to not getting bloodwork. Now that the blood work is done. It’s been 3 weeks and no one has reached out. Called office several times and they send you to a voicemail. So finally had to go into the office in person and still got no where. Reporting this office to the Arizona Medical Board. This office will kill you. Finally getting the right person on the phone things could not get resolved. She said she was only a messenger and there is nothing that she can do. Been to multiple facilities and this one is truly the worst. I do not recommend this to anyone. Think twice before going to a facility like this.

I have no idea why this place gets such poor reviews. I have had a stellar experience this far. Maybe my expectations are based of my experience with Indiana healthcare? I don’t know. But my NP Steli Kostov has been outstanding at navigating my long list of health issues. Her staff responds quickly to my portal messages. I always get my results through the portal WITH a follow up call. The referrals to other specialists have been great as well. The referral process with AI happened within a week. I haven’t had any billing issues.

I will say, while I’m waiting for my appointment I’ve seen people treat the front desk like second class citizens. To be honest, I see that a lot in Arizona. Never ever saw that in Indiana (NWI, Indianapolis/suburbs). We don’t have signs there that tell you assaulting a healthcare professional is a felony, like they do in Phoenix. It’s crazy!

Disregard all those negative reviews and try out this office. I feel really fortunate to have found my way here.
