Overall a decent place to take your children with behavioral issues. Avoid Dr. Newman, he dismisses all your issues and doesn't listen to you, supposed to be an ADHD expert but doesn't believe anyone actually has ADHD. All of the other practitioners are great though! Also Sunni (case management) is amazing!!!!!
Unfortunately there is high turnover for behavior techs that work with your children at home and school, so once they get comfortable with them they end up getting switched to a different one, and you have to restart the process at school, so it makes it very hard to utilize that particular resource.

Open hearts has been nothing but amazing to and for my children and family. From intake day until now the staff (especially Ashley) have become part of our extended family. I have two children who have greatly benefited from the programs they offer and recommend them for anyone seeking services. Seeing my two kids with autism grow as well as their happiness and their ability to be comfortable with the staff truly makes our lives that much better.

The office staff and office ladies have always been helpful and caring. My son just graduated from this program. If I could give 10 stars, I would. His team consisted of 3 people. His case manager, his behavior coach, and family support. They all worked together and came up with solutions with my sons behavior and aggression. My son made huge progress. He is more confident, takes different approaches when he is upset, and does not let bullying, get to him anymore. We are very proud and can’t wait to see his outcome for the next school year.

The staff at Open Hearts is very caring about the well being of children. They have helped my son for the past few years and he has made great strides towards becoming a proper young man. We have never had a bad experience with Open Hearts and highly recommend them to anyone who has difficulties directing their children toward proper behavior. Thank you for all your work and dedication to my family!

They staff was ok. Lady at the front is overqualified. Just because she was the best out of everyone I came in counter with. My son did his intake for 2 hours all to have to make another appointment a month later just to get his meds to be seen my a psychiatrist. That was ridiculous. My son has ADHD and ODD and should not be without the meds for that long with them knowing he was off a couple months already. When we did see the doctor, (can't even remember the name because he was on a screen and not in person) he was rude to my son and just rushed everything. Did not fell comfortable and that's not good. I would recommend this place if you absolutely have to. I personally know now what they are like and since I'm already in that I will stay but to start I would try Future Forward Wellness with Melissa Ramirez. I saught her out before but she does not take government assit insurance. But she is the best. Hands down. I'll go back to her when I get back on my good insurance.

Receptionists are rude as can be and getting a therapist for my significant other was impossible since the one assigned at first had quit. Recieved no voicemails and when asked about they pushed it aside. Sadly an absolute lovely psych works here but the receptionists and call centers are ridiculous if you need really anything. Absolutely do not recommend. Also if you do decide to come here don't miss any appointments as they like to not warn you of their discharge policy after missed visits. Which is also lack of telling on their end. Better off finding another place to get seen for any help.

Every appointment I've had I was rushed and I spent more time being talked to then being listened to.
Dr "Z" was always 5 to 10 minutes late to our zoom appts but I waited patiently for him.
I was late by 5 minutes ONCE because I was not feeling well/in restroom, and the first thing out of his mouth was to chastise me with: "youre very late we need to hurry up and get this going" -his exact words. My zoom appointment was at 12:20 I was logged in and ready to go at 12:25 (which is barely five minutes late)I did not deserve that comment from him whatsoever- not only that but when I attempted to hold him accountable for saying that by reminding him I was only five minutes late and he's been late to our meetings, he simply told me to reschedule and removed himself from the meeting. He could've taken that moment to hope that I feel better, drop the subject and & proceed with the appointment. Instead he chose to invalidate and ignore my perspective which says a lot about who he is not just as a doctor but a person. He is *extremely* unprofessional- he never remembered my name, he even forgot the fact that my child is a patient of his and he referred me himself! I should've known by how I was treated when I was initially set up with this place (how unprofessional Gabriel treated me over the phone, being condescending and short tempered with my questions) and the fact that his supervisor made excuses for him instead of apologizing for his behavior-also speaks VOLUMES. The last thing I'll say is this: The fact that my sons had 2 behavioralists here after only 30 days of service because the first one was let go after his 2ND appointment with her (he adored her and connected with her) but for whatever reason she was let go and they gave us a female named Stephanie who not only made a habit of correcting me during my sons appointments(for instance telling me that president and CEO are the same thing when they're notsmh) but my son did not like her at all.. this place is an unprofessional disappointment
