I called Diamond to arrange rental of a lift chair that I needed the next day. I fully expected to be told I couldn't be helped. To my surprise, Erin verified that there was 1 chair available & they were able to get it out that day. I spoke to her & Cecile several times through out & they were GREAT! If I could give more stars I would! Thank you!!

This place has a business relationship with Evernorth. Was faxed the information for a scooter in June and haven't heard a single word. I've left 3 messages with no response. I'm also filling a report with Cigna Medicare. There has to be a better more reputable place to deal with.

I called them Monday March 21, 2022 for a problem with the wheelchair I had bought from them about two and a half years ago. The right brake was loose, not locking properly, so the wheelchair would roll out from under me when trying to transfer in and out of it. A very dangerous situation. The young woman I spoke to told me I had to pay a $50 dollar service fee, so I gave her my credit card information. She told me someone would be out to see me maybe that afternoon, or certainly the next day, Tuesday, march 22. On Tuesday I called back, spoke with the same woman, and told her that a friend had come and helped me check, and that the slot where the bolt goes to clamp the brake assembly to the wheelchair frame was cracked and broken. The brake assembly would have to be replaced. She thanked me, and assured me someone would be out. I waited all day long Tuesday and Wednesday, and no one came. It's now Thursday, and still no one has come. When I call, I get their answering machine, "they're on the other line".I've left multiple messages, and no one has returned my calls.
At this point I sincerely doubt that they are an actual real medical supply company. If I could give them a zero rating I would. I'd recommend that no one else do business with them. If it were just a matter of them being busy I might understand, but ignoring customers and not doin something as simple as a return call is beyond bad service.
Update: March 26. Mike from Diamond Medical called, and offered to come repair my wheelchair. He worked hard for some time, and was very nice, and very apologetic about the delay in getting to me. I feel much better now about this company. My previous comments were based much on the fear I had that I might fall while trying to transfer, which would be a very serious situation for me.

My mom has been home from rehab for well over a month. When they dropped the bed off, they did not bring bed rails - something she desperately needs. The driver said we would have them in a couple of days... After calling and leaving messages for over two weeks, he came back with three rails which only one fit properly. He said he would be back with the rest. That was two or three weeks ago? I called and actually got someone on the phone that said someone would be by with them (never happened). I have left two messages since then - still nothing.
My 81 year old father and I are getting so tired of moving couches around all the time in order for her not to fall out of bed. It is ridiculous.

Contacted diamond for a transport wheelchair to be purchased through Medicare. Sent them a prescription from the doctor which stated transport wheelchair talk to them three times on the phone and there was never any issue with ordering a transport wheelchair. Following up a week later checking on the status and I’m informed they don’t do transport wheelchairs through Medicare, when I ask why didn’t you call us and tell us her response was I don’t know. I would find another company to do business with.

My parents rented a nebulizer. We assembled it correctly etc and it does not work.

We immediately contacted Diamond Medical Equipment, at least twice, leaving messages and no calls were returned!

If our continued attempt at contact fails, we will be reporting them to Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as returning the equipment.

Just FYI before you rent from them.

Also, they were unwilling to submit secondary & third insurance preferring to take advantage of elderly ppl and collect co-payments!!

"That's not our problem", when my father requested them to bill 2nd & 3rd insurance for a zero copay.

Be warned and look out for your loved ones.

Amazing company and very helpful and friendly people. Thank you for explaining the process and letting me understand when the affordable care act took place that Medicare requires information that is needed. It's very confusing but now i completely understand. I am very happy and satisfied with my DME. Also I would like to mention that I have sent friends and family to your company because I have noticed your prices are very affordable and reasonable and love the fact that you also have a rental option and give excellent customer service.
