Excellent care. Everyone's experience with any doctor or procedure will vary and outcomes differ. Will another be better, worse or same?Unpredictable mostly. So what matters to me is effort. I came to Dr. Tropeano and he didn't cookie cut anything. Very personal care with options discussed and action taken on a plan. I'm going back to him after he's done a procedure on me. I think that says something. Thx Doc and Coosa Valley. See you soon!

Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, Al. provides the kind of genuine patient care that cannot be forgotten. Each person from the administrative staff to the nurses, the nurse aids, the wonderful volunteers and even their security personnel make you feel welcome. They all reassure you that their job is to care and put the patients as priority.
In a time when it seems that people have become just numbers and data, CVMC has reached out to real people with real needs.
My wife and I have been blessed to have received care from them.

My grandson was well taken care of by the doctors and staff at Coosa Valley. They made sure he felt safe. They also kept him very comfortable before and after surgery. They really put my mind at ease. Thanks Dr McLeod and Coosa Valley Medical team and staff.

I cannot warn you passionately enough to not come here. My mom broke her arm yesterday and they went to the ER here at the Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was diagnosed with an Ulnar Fracture. She was prescribed Norcet and some antibiotics. We took it to the pharmacy to get filled and and the pharmacist said the drug is discontinued and practically no longer exists. The pharmacist called the medical center and spoke to Dr. Sunkavalli who said to just fill the antibiotics. Even though mom has a broken arm. We called the medical center back ourselves to clarify what her diagnosis was, because we need a narcotic for her because she broke her arm and it’s very obvious. They were INCREDIBLY rude over the phone, telling us shortly that the doctor already spoke with the pharmacist- all we were trying to do was get clarification. They finally transferred us to the ER who said that my mom definitely had a fracture, and we would have to drive all the way back to the medical center to get a new prescription written. We drive all the way back and the women at the ER registration were short with us and rude. We asked to speak to the doctor who prescribed her originally and were told that it’s right this time and turned away. When we attempted to get it filled a second time we went to the Walgreens nearby (in case it was wrong again) and even the women at the Walgreens pharmacy said, “Yes we hear about the medical center very often. They’re not good.” The medical center has no empathy, they don’t care if they gave you the wrong prescription or wasted your time. Please work on your professionalism, how you speak to patients on the phone AND in person, and writing correct prescriptions for your patients. Maybe idk… have some basic consideration for healthcare? ? We won’t be back.

This was my first experience at CVMC. Everyone I spoke with on the phone or encountered during my outpatient stay was pleasant, caring & knowledgeable. I was impressed with the care I received. I'm a retired RN from a Birmingham facility. If the need arises, I would have no problem returning to this very caring hospital. Keep up the great work!

Worst ER facility ever. Told my over-the-counter road truck driver father in law that couldn't breathe and having chest pain that nothing was wrong with him he was having a panic attack. They escorted him out of ER without testing him for blood clots or chest CT. He could barely walk and mumbling incoherent. When we finally got back home 7 hours later his symptoms were 100 times worse and ended up in another ER. He was admitted with double pneumonia. Do NOT go there if your a truck driver because the care sucks.
