I went in for my annual this morning and I tried to tell the MA that my last year billing was not done correctly and was charged for annual, n he was very defensive about it bc looks like he checked me in last year too. I told him I’m saying that just so we make sure we don’t run into similar issues this year . In fact they messed up last year and didn’t add my Pap test as wellness test. And I got a bill for some $400. I wouldn’t have gotten it if they said it wasn’t covered.

When the doctor(jonida krate)came she was nice but really not free talking about overall health bc of the billing aspect and she didn’t ask if I have any concerns I still told her my concerns n asked what todays test would cover. Asked if we are doing a complete panel, she said yes.

I went to the lab n asked if we have A1C was there n they said no
Im like who goes to annual physical fasting n not get a1c
I like the doctor but im surprised that they just don’t understand patients needs. Especially when I told her I’m having difficulty losing weight!

I went back to the front desk and asked if they could add it. I had to wait one hour and ask for manager before they could add it!
The MA saw me waiting and he wasn’t even like can we help with anything?
I was there at 7. And it took 2 1/2 hours to get out with only 15 mins of actual exam with the doctor!
Big hospitals are losing human touch, and compassion! No consideration for patients time or money!

Recently moved here from Washington State. After moving I saw that I'd missed an e-mail received from my previous healthcare provider. They said I needed to review a message from my doctor. I checked and was informed that my lab results were irregular from my last visit there and that I needed to schedule a follow-up visit to go over the results. Since I wasn't living there any longer, I asked a neighbor and she said Banner was close by. My wife called the scheduling department and explained the situation and that I also needed to establish a new Primary Care doctor. They got me in within a few days at their Desert Ridge location. I'd done some research and found out that Banner was the largest healthcare provider in Arizona. Oh No! With that I was a bit apprehensive that I'd be going to a mega-busy over-crowded place. That was the furthest from reality. This office felt like being back in small town USA compared to what I was used to in Washington. Easy to park up close and easy to navigate where to go. I was impressed with every aspect of my visit. Front office was prompt to greet and got me in to the exam room quickly. The doctor was prompt to see me and had already reviewed my records.

I've been back to this location to their lab and that was also super quick and easy. When my lab results came back they got me in promptly again to discuss the results and the treatment plan for a newly found medical problem.

Changing healtcare providers can be stressful. I'm very grateful for the healthcare experiences I had a Banner's Desert Ridge. This last time I came home I said to my wife that felt very fortunate that she found them for me. I can easily recommend Banner Desert Ridge if you're looking for a new Healthcare provider.

I went to see Dr. Natasa Vojvodic for the 1st time since my PCP, who was AMAZING, no longer work for Banner. Dr. V was so late to our appointment and when she came in I felt like she wasn't really listening to what I was saying & kept rushing me to finish what I wanted to say. I didn't feel comfortable going back to her, so I ended up switching to a different PCP!
