Ok..... let me start out by saying that I was a long term IV drug user(I'm clean now) and my veins are very, very hard to find or hit. I went to the ER cause I was puking all night and had severe abdominal pain. Come to find out, they diagnosed me with pancriatitis. In the ER, about 4 nurses tried to find a vein and couldn't. Then I asked the doctor what was the next step and he said we will go in through your neck. I told him let's do it, I'm sick of feeling like a pin cushion. He got the IV in my neck and started me on fluids. I woke up later that evening only to discover that the IV he installed had somehow come out(under my skin) and my neck swelled up to a softball(not exaggerating). Then later that night, I am squirming in pain from my abdomen hurting so much and three more nurses come in and all three tried to stick me. I repeatedly told them I can't do this and they said one more time.... I let them have their one more time and they failed again. They seemed to focus on me more like a challenge that they could find a vein on me, rather than focus on my care and my level of pain at the moment. The only good thing about them.... some of their nurses were nice to talk to and polite. But I wasn't going there to make friends, I needed care and they just wanted to prove they could find a vein on me...... Absolutely disgusted with the "care" I received here. If you have a small cut or a bruise I wouldn't even go here.

My experience in February 2023 was good actually. I had to stay in the hospital 3 days due to a back injury. All the nurses were nice as well as the ER doctor and Doctor Nichols who I saw while I was staying in the hospital. Dr. Nichols is very nice very professional.

this is the most god awful hospital i have ever been to i went there sunday so sick i could barley hold my head up the nurse ran that cotton swab so far up my noise for a covid test i sware i just new it my nose was gonna pour blood as soon as she took it out the dr abele donald lamar was so hateful and cruel to me and every answer i gave to his questions was a lie so he said when he left the room the nurse came right in with discharge papers and said i had a viral infection it can be treated at home and this is with me telling them i have copd the covid test is the only test they did and i walk out all they was concerned about was me sighing there paper work and no i didnt sigh a paper one i went to helen keller where i was admitted with influenza a whitch without proper treatment you will die from it not to mention i also had copd with a cute exacerbation and flu like symptioms when you become a doctor it becomes your job to do all you can for a person that has came to you for help how would you feel if it was your family member that got done the way i did and not just by the doctor but the hole er staff yes you will be hearing from me i promise

I'm beyond pissed off!! If I could give you negative 5 stars I would. How in the world can you take a x-ray and say everything is fine? But another hospital takes and x-ray and it shows a fractured clavicle as plain as day?

The nurses here seem to be more qualified than the actual doctors themselves. At least they are: kind, sincere, helpful, will listen, and seem to be interested in your health and well being. ALL emergencies are important no matter how big or how small. The doctors here do NOT care about any problems you may have as long as they don't have to waste their time with you. As seen on multiple occasions by multiple people. If you're in a car wreck, need to give birth, or if you fell into extremely hot grease, just walk it off. You'll get about the same results as going to this establishment. Maybe even a better result.

No stars! This place is absolutely the definition of malpractice. I was in a wreck and trusted these people for my care. I was told they did not believe me and was not cared for when I had a concussion and many sprains and contusions. When I left after being talked down to they later sent a bill saying I had to pay for X-rays never received and for care never given. I was their hospital scholarship winner in 2014 and I was profiled by their own ER doctor. What a joke. When I disputed these charges and explained it all to Shannon Hagood I was later sent a letter explaining that my efforts to dispute were void and I would still need to pay but they ensured me they were so deeply sorry and how they pride themselves in helping their community. I will be sure to spread the word on how the town of Moulton can’t get proper medical treatment unless they drive out of town. This place is a scam and I see why the doctors don’t even like referring people to their own town hospital!

Every time I have went to this ER, it has been a bad experience in which the doctors would not listen to what I had to say. Most of the nurses were spectacular. Dr. Edwards, however, is incredibly thorough, funny and genuinely seems to care for his patients!

Insurance info was given at visit. We have blue cross blue shield anthem. I gave them number. Then they call leave smart messages. Do your job. That is my primary insurance.
