Their ER department does not have beds. Everyone is crammed in like sardines and made to sit in chairs (see photo)
Ive never seen anything like it. It was shocking.
People come to you at their most vulnerable moments and are treated like an assembly line.
Sick people should have the option for a bed- like a typical ER!
The wait is ridiculously long! No doctor and no results after SITTING in pain waiting for 5 hrs is not good practice!
Do better!

Kathryn and Audrey on level 4 were absolutely incredible. They need to be honored and recognized somehow. They are the only ones who kept me calm and from not having a panic attack. They’re the reason for my review.
I took off a stair because other nurses didn’t even compare to them. My IV started leaking and I had to wait 10-15 minutes before my new nurses came by, but Kathryn and Audrey where there as soon as I needed something. I was so upset when their shift was over!

My mom was taken to the emergency room during the summer of 2023 and the staff were so prompt to take care of her. Honestly, from the front desk staff, the nurses and physicians and until she was admitted to the ICU. I know that they did everything they possibly could to save her life while keeping her safe and comfortable prior to her passing. I’m from the east coast and I can honestly say that I’ve never seen medical staff at any hospital give such immediate and personal care to anyone in my family prior to bringing my mom to Banner Estrella. I am very thankful for them and their professionalism.

delivered my baby boy here on June 13th 2024! had an amazing labor and delivery team ! Amber deserves more praise as she was the best nurse and had the most amazing bed side manners! Made me feel very safe and well taken care of during my stay and comforted me when i was induced and having really painful back to back contractions ! Reason why it’s 4 stars is because once I was switched to my post partum room the nurses on that floor seemed to not care much as I had to keep calling them and still not receiving any assistance until 2 hours later . My lactation consultation didn’t help me with much except giving me a colostrum collecting express kit but didn’t educate me on how to use and made me feel dumb for asking . Later on in the day when asking for my discharge papers they took forever to discharge me and get me a wheelchair we had asked and waited an hour and then my husband had to go and retrieve a wheelchair for me as they were talking amongst themselves doing nothing . Otherwise i’m satisfied with my treatment here .

Everyone at Banner were awesome. I had a major surgery and everyone was fantastic. My RN in particular was absolutely the best. Very caring and attentive. All the staff from beginning to end were great. The room was very accommodating. Food when I was allowed to eat was good. Thank you again for caring for me as much as you did.

Delivered my first baby at Banner Estrella and from L&D Triage to Postpartum, the care and nurses were over the top amazing! So friendly and informative. I had a long, challenging labor and my nurses did everything to get me through. Even nurses who were not mine came to assist mine & made a huge difference. Thank you to L&D nurses Christina, Nicole and Maggie but especially Nicole for getting me through the toughest night of my whole life!!!! Cecila and Karina were also top notch in postpartum!

The ER here sucks!!!!!!!! Who came up with this new procedure?! I’m 13 weeks pregnant with sharp pain in my stomach the last thing that I want is to be in a room full of other sick patients. Plus getting thrown around from room to room sucks. It’s so uncomfortable waiting sitting in a chair where all a sick person wants is to lay down in a bed!!!!

Plus when I was getting my blood work done in one of rooms, the young man that was helping me was gross ? he left another patients pee sample next to mines!!!! And was in a rush throwing everything around.

Only helpful and concern doc was the lady that did my ultrasound she was so nice and informative.

But other than that Never again will I come back here or recommend this place to anyone!!!!!! Run run while you can!!!!

There’s my pee sample next to another strangers pee lol gross ?

My son was in acute kidney failure, he needed to start dialysis. We went to the ER with all the kidney failure symptoms and the staff informed us of all the steps to get him dialysis. They took the time to educate us that it was not a fast process. We were in the ER for 28 hours, then we were admitted for a week after.

We received such great care, yes the process was long; but the staff informed us that would be the case as they had to create access, and locate a chair for dialysis, not only for now but to follow on for maintenance. They even went so far as to schedule a fistula surgery!

We had worked with his kidney doctor since July to get this care…… and the team at Banner was able to do it all in about 10 days! It was worth the time to get the life saving care my son needed.
All of the nurse, LVNs, CNAs and doctors we Interacted with were amazing, they kept us informed of what was happening and were very responsive to our questions. In the 10 days we were admitted he went from sleepy and almost unresponsive to awake and alert. It has been 2 weeks since and he is now back to dancing and trying to rough house with the dogs!

I believe that Banner Estrella saved my son’s life. Thank you to everyone who helped us in our time of need.
