Needing 9-10 teeth pulled and knowing this would be the case I made a consultation appointment. I had already suffered dentists trying to save teeth I knew needed to be pulled so I called Louisville Oral Surgery. When I arrived there was minimal paperwork and a very short wait for my appointment. I was seen about 10 minutes after I got my paperwork done. Dr. Babcock gave me my consultation and not only confirmed what I knew but explained everything to me and went over my X-Rays closely. He patiently answered my questions and helped me put a plan in place. I needed to have it done in 2022 before my insurance flipped and I lost the amount available to me and the office was able to oblige this. Before the date of my surgery I got a letter from my insurance telling me the procedures and everything I needed to know. The Oral Surgery center had already gotten everything in place with them and I was good to go. The day of the surgery came and it was a short wait again. They played my favorite music and did everything they could to keep me calm. As someone with severe anxiety they took good care of me. Dr. Babcock came in and told me what was going to happen and five different people clarified that my wife was with me to drive me home after. (For obvious reasons) but it was nice they checked so much to make sure. I do not remember most of the rest of the day from that point. I can say, that any questions the wife and I had after and in the days since have been answered quickly and efficiently by the office. While I still have a lot of healing to do I can already tell a HUGE difference in the health of my mouth. Everything is healing very nicely and the stitches have not bugged me at all. Eating is getting a bit better each day. I HIGHLY suggest anyone needing stuff like this done to go to this office. I have NEVER had a better dental experience. The next evening after my surgery I was surprised the the Doctor called me himself. On a Friday evening well after closing time, to see how I was doing. That right there says it all about how much he cares about his patients and how empathetic his is.
Now, I just need to get fully healed and try to find a dentist that can help me get some partials. Wish me luck!

Zero stars if I could. I made an appointment to get a wisdom tooth pulled. My mother took an unpaid day off, drove over an hour to be my ride and I paid a sitter to watch my children. We got there 30 minutes early and waited for their opening to call and check in. They CANCELLED my appointment, telling me they called to confirm and got no answer. I have NO record of their call and was not told I would get one! So the appointment I ALREADY COMMITTED TO BY MAKING, was cancelled! The lady on the call with me was kind to explain how the dentist's 2 hours of money was more important than the satisfaction of of his customers. I was also belittled because of my income and insurance. I then tried to reschedule and was HUNG UP ON. As I'm talking to my dental office to make an appointment elsewhere, guess who calls back? Yep, their call came through fine that time! I will NEVER be back there again. They have greatly inconvenienced my family and blamed ME for it!

I just got my wisdom teeth out this morning here. They did a fantastic job, and with the pain meds they gave me I am feeling great except for the swelling. There was one nurse I had in there who wasn’t really interested in being friendly, but I understand it might have just been a bad day for her. She also told the second nurse I had, that people coming out of anesthesia were so annoying and I didn’t appreciate that but please don’t hold that against her.

The second nurse I had was the one who gave me my IV and she was fantastic. She was super nice and funny, and she really helped calmed me down. She even helped me walk out to my dad’s truck to get in which I appreciate immensely.

Also, when I got home I was a bit uncomfortable and distressed but my dad called the office for me and they explained to me and him how to ease my pain and symptoms. I really feel a lot better after hearing that advice. And I am surprisingly pain free right now.

All in all, I had a great experience here and I’d just like to thank both the nurses and the doctor for their help in my wisdom teeth removal.

I have been in pain since December over a wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled. I walked into their office and not even a hour later they were helping me by taking it out. Not only was the rate affordable the staff and Dr. Joseph were friendly, patient and kind. I have anxiety and they were still able to make me laugh and make pulling the tooth a easy experience. Such welcoming people! Thank you guys so much.

I have had my family’s Oral surgical needs and my wife’s cosmetic procedures (Botox, lip injections, etc) done at this office over the last year and a half and I couldn’t begin to relate how professional and awesome this office is for anything related to oral surgery or maxillofacial surgical needs. My wife just had three permanent implants placed and their aftercare phone calls and check ups make her feel like she really belongs in the planning, care, and aftercare process as a teammate instead of just as a patient. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS TEAM OF DOCTORS AND THEIR STAFF! I review a lot of places and — as one could see by going through my past reviews — I will openly state when a company fails to meet my expectations, but this office performs above and beyond my expectations.

I went here to get 19 extractions and was very pleased with my outcome. I have passport and was made to feel welcome and treated with the upmost respect. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the good care guys, great job.

Best visit yesterday. Doctor thought it best to wait a few more weeks on final implant uncovering and I appreciate his honesty. Walked me to front desk saw me out. These people have become my family.

I've never been to a doctor/dentist office and immediately felt uncomfortable--until I came here. I'm not one to write reviews, but I was so appalled at the condition of this office. There were syringes on the ground, the hazardous waste container had vials and syringes AROUND (not in) it, stainless steel appliances were rusty, and dust covered everything. I had a 5 minute consultation turn into an hour (which I'm usually okay with), and constantly found health hazards everywhere. I am NOT having my wisdom teeth extracted here and don't recommend anyone else to either.
