Reason for this review is, I wasn't able to get ALL my medications filled because he doesn't hold a license for a certain medication I take. I explained I have been on this medication for 5 years in Utah and most Family practice doctors are able to prescribe this medication. Dr. Ghanta told me Id need a special doctor or to have to go to a clinic. I found this hard to believe and on top of him telling me NO ONE with Abrazo could prescribe it. He said Arizona has different laws and made it sound as if this task was unique and difficult. After I left I called another Family Practice Physician to see if this was true. The girl up front put me on hold and came back with, YES he does prescribe this medication.
With congestive heart failure I have had my fair share of doctors and visits. Dr. Ghanta saying he and no one from Abrazo holds this license seems strange to me. Other then that he seems like a great doctor and the women up from was wonderful. He is getting 5 stars but I did feel a little unsettled when I left.

I am a 70-year-old veteran, I've been with DR Ghanta for almost 2 years. He is professional takes the time to listen to the issues at hand! Always timely and spot on with re-ordering medications. I've been a patient of Dr. Ghanta's for almost 6 years. From day one he has been open, honest, and up-front. He tells me what I need to work on and suggests ways of attaining my goal. He is very thorough, and explains my options with detail. He is not only my primary, but now my family's primary and my in-laws as well. I will recommend Dr. Ghanta to anyone looking for a solid primary physician.

Best dr I have ever had and very knowledgeable. Dr did really good at helping me get my A1C from a 14.5 down to a 7.9. Dr also listens to you and what you need and gives you the right treatments thank you Dr Ghanta for everything you do wish there where more drs in the world like you

Been going to him for 4 years now, it was fine at first but always felt rushed. I asked him if he could look at a mole and he said no your not here for that. ( The Mole was on my shoulder and i always forgot about it, out of sight out of mind) So 2 years later I had a appointment and I had to see someone else and I ask her if she could look at it and she did and then refer ed me to a specialist. Come to find out that mole was melanoma and I had to have extensive surgery. Thank God they got all of it. But who knows if Dr. Ghanta would have looked at it 2 years earlier when I asked the surgery may not have been as harsh as it was. Now I see a dermatologist every 3 months.
I am now moving on to someone else.

Dr. Ghanta is the best primary care physician I have ever had. Attentive, professional, and an excellent bedside manner. He communicates well. The. Very. Best.
