I've been going to Amy for alterations for years (prom dresses, formal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, etc) so when I needed my wedding gown altered, of course I was going to Amy and she did not disappoint. She had to hem, take in, and add a bustle to my dress. She did a phenomenal job! She also fixed tears in the tulle that happened when I did my bridal portraits and made a few other adjustments to make it perfect. She also steamed my dress the week of my wedding. I tried it on when I got home from picking it up after Amy steamed it and it was too big. No fault of Amy's, I must have lost weight from all the wedding stress since I last tried it on. Called Amy immediately (three days before my wedding) in a panic and she assured me the she could take it in within enough time. Took it to her right away and picked it up from her before lunch the day before my wedding and it fit perfectly. She is truly the best and I wouldn't have trusted my dress with anyone else. I highly recommend Amy to anyone that needs alterations of any kind, but especially wedding dresses!

I got married September 2024 and am finally sitting down to write my review of Amy at Alterations of Lewisville. All I can say is she is amazing at what she does and has a very kind heart! She was always someone I looked forward to seeing in the hectic days leading up to my wedding-she was always making me laugh! Her pricing is beyond fair and she does impeccable work. Amy did such an amazing job on my wedding dress!! It takes a lot to trust someone with such an important dress but she did the most beautiful job. Amy was so lovely and helped alter my somewhat complicated two piece wedding dress. The main change was the corset top needed the arm holes openings to be lowered (I am tall so just longer than the average woman) and through a few fittings we made it work for my body without compromising the design of it. It looks great now and fits so much more comfortably. She is really the best!! 10/10 recommend.

I got both my wedding dress and reception dress for my upcoming wedding altered here. Amy is FABULOUS and was so accommodating to our schedule. She does such fabulous work, and the dresses now look incredible since they fit so well!
I’m borrowing my cousin’s wedding dress, and she was able to alter the dress to fit me perfectly, while not making a single cut so she can restore it to my cousin’s original size after my wedding. There is no other place in this area that comes close. Amy is the best!

Amy is phenomenal! She is so personable and makes you feel right at home. I needed changes made to the delicate lace on my wedding dress and it looks so amazing you would’ve thought I bought it like that. I will be returning for all future alteration needs!
