I’ve had a contentious relationship with this Chick-fil-A location over the years, but after two disappointing breakfast experiences in just the past couple of weeks, I felt compelled to leave a review.

Today was the final straw. My food was burnt and completely inedible; I’ll be posting pictures! On top of this, the last time I ordered breakfast (on the first morning after the location reopened following “renovations”), everything arrived cold. The hash browns were soggy, and the bread on the chicken minis was hard as a rock. If I didn’t know better, I would’ve thought it was food prepped before they even closed.

To make matters worse, they’ve removed curbside pickup and replaced it with a nonsensical “mobile thru” lane. It’s completely useless as you still end up waiting in a line identical to that of the drive-thru. If I wanted to wait in a line, I’d just go through the regular drive-thru in the first place. I’ve tried this lane twice (once during lunch), but today I decided it didn’t make sense to use it & instead took the regular drive. I think it was actually faster than my mobile lane experiences. Overall, after today’s breakfast debacle, I’m officially done with this location in the mornings.

It’s really unfortunate because I work nearby, and convenience used to be the biggest appeal. But at this point, the quality and experience just aren’t worth it.

My experience at chick-fil-a is never a good experience. On 09-25-2024, I(CScott) a colored woman who had traveled to the chick-fil-a in Newark Delaware, the one next to the Chrisitana hospital.
I ordered a cobb salad with no bacon. I spelled my name out for the cashier who had taken my order. What she do?The cashier woman spelled my name wrong and gave me a salad with bacon. I will never give chick-fli-a my money again. Plus, 06/2024. I found bugs in my milk shake. Never again. I'd call the customer service number. The woman on the other line didn't want to take my call. She stated she had problems hearing my issues. When it comes rating this chick-fil-a, it's a zero for me.

Stopped by for some lunch after visiting the eye doctor. They let me sit down to wait for my food. They brought my food to me and even came by to offer me a refill. The Nuggets and Waffle Fries were very good. Flowers on the tables too. They have a nice play center there. I would recommend taking the kids and visiting this place for lunch and an outing.

First ever bad experience. So many people at pick up you couldn't get in the door.8 people in line, 1 cashier, 3 at drive thru. When food was ready, didn't call my name, put food on shelf behind a counter no one was manning. Had to ask someone. By the time I got to my car the pickles made the chicken bottom soggy. In the door to getting food at the Newark location was 20 mins w/no apology/explanation.

So if you earn rewards and have 2 sandwiches in que, and are told to pick 1, and you do, you then lose both? Why have rewards if you lose them? The manager was nice but he said it was corporate's problem, and i lost one half of a 2-person meal

I haven't been to many chik-fil-A's but every time I've gone they screwed up my order. I've been to one in TN, NY, CT and MD. Each one got my order wrong. I like their food, but their service not so much

Is there a such thing as a bad Chick fil A? Nope. This Delware location keeps the streak alive. They did mess up my order, but had it fixed in 2 minutes. Not a big deal. Place was clean, people were friendly and food was excellent. What more do you need? Love this place.
