Just had my first massage from John Jay. He has great hands, strong but gentle. Asks for feedback about amount of pressure and adjusts quickly. Listens well. Did a great job loosening up a badly knotted neck! A really nice person - warm and relaxed.

I've been going to John Jay for a year plus now. He's helped me tremendously in easing aches from a back surgery 2 years ago. Nowadays, I go to John Jay on a regular basis to address achy spots from weightlifting, working a desk job, and being a mom. He is well versed in various techniques such as deep tissue, myofascial release, active stretching, etc. He tries to understand what you need help with, and makes sure to focus on them. He will also suggest different spots for massage for a more holistic approach.

At the end of the session, John Jay will give you suggestions for self-care, or things to work on. He's been fantastic to work with. I would highly suggest John Jay if you need somebody to help you move towards feeling pain-free.
