For about 9 months I complained that my left leg was hurting and eventually it was getting very cold and my foot felt like ice. On Oct. 13 I told her again my foot was so cold and even with a heating pad I couldn’t get it warm. She replied ok maybe you should get some lab work done and that was the last I heard from her. She did set up an appointment for April. 4 weeks later I had an appointment with my cardiologist and when I told him about my leg he said I probably had a blockage. An ultrasound showed I did have a 99% blockage in my left leg. He immediately set up an appointment to get it unblocked and turned out my right leg had a 50% blockage also. How long can your leg live with no blood flow? Thankfully we did find a real doctor who is qualified in health care. She is very good at ordering lab work work done but she doesn’t follow through. Since doctors who are taking new patients are in short supply you get stuck with NPs and they take on more people than they can take care of so you get below par medical care.
