This is the ONLY place in town to go for a thyroid biopsy. Dr. Rainwater is skilled, careful, thorough, knowledgeable, and isn’t single-mindedly focused on convincing patients to have their thyroid glands removed the way some other NM pathologists are. He also makes sure to get a valid sample on the first go so you don’t have to keep coming back for re-jabs. His staff is also outstanding. If you get Jamila as a nurse, you’ll be a lucky patient because she’s super smart and on top of everything. She actually called me after hours to let me know my results were clear, which, for someone with a complex cancer history, was so helpful and moving. Just an all-round excellent clinic.
