Dr. Larson is the best ever! I have, at times, severe anxiety and John has never failed to make me at ease, let me take breaks, whatever it takes to get things finished. His office staff are the kindest and friendliest people. Highly recommend them. Myself, and my grown kids, have been going to him for 30+ years. Apparently right after he got out of dental school! 😉

First time moving out in my life I had my first proper medical emergency with a severe tooth infection. This was the only place who could get me in asap and was given proper treatment, referred to exactly who I needed to see, and they have been more than helpful after the fact even with me messing up my treatment. Dr Larson ruined one of my back molars by not sealing a filling properly causing me to need an expensive root canal. He had the opportunity to catch the issue too when I went to my regularly scheduled cleaning. I thought the tooth looked weird because it was developing a hole on the top that was noticeable and had already turned into a food trap but he said everything was ok and I didn’t have any cavities. When his office couldn’t get me in for an emergency appointment after my tooth became unbearably painful I ended up at McKenzie Dental in Springfield. They were super professional and didn’t blame him but when I pressed for answers they said the filling he had done on that tooth was done improperly and it had caused bacteria to get behind the filling. They said the problem had been going on for a long time too. I will never go back to Dr Larson, he has a great bedside manner but at the end of the day I need a dentist who does good work and is able to fit me in when I need emergency dental work.
