I want to thank Metro West for the care they took bringing my sister from a hospital stay in Portland to a rehab facility in Salem. She left her cane in the medical transportation vehicle. We didn’t discover it till a couple of hours later. The dispatcher arranged schedules so they were able to bring the cane back and drop it off the same day. We were grateful for this. Of course, it was the right thing to do, but you can’t always count on businesses to do the right thing. Thanks again Metro West – appreciate it👍👍👍

I was scheduled for a June 13, 2025 ,at 0:600am , wheelchair pickup. I was to be picked up from my home to go to the PORTLAND VETERANS HOSPITAL .They ( metro West ) were running late . They did not make the pre-arranged transport arrangements . They were given advance notice . They had left 30 minutes to get from yamhill county to Portland . I had stacked appointments. That I had waited a long time for . I was due for testing for cancer for two large body - organs . I was not able to access any care of any kind that day .So much planning , time , effort gone.Very difficult to align these specialty departments for the same day . If. It had been a one time occurrence it would be easier to absorb. But it was not . It is chronic and problematic. For those of us veterans who depend on support services, it becomes crucial . I cried many tears of frustration that day . I'Am a USAF VETERAN. I'AM HONORABLY DISCHARGED WITH A GOOD CONDUCT MEDAL . I'AM 100 PERCENT SERVICE SERVICE-CONNECTED. IS THIS THE BEST VETERANS. CAN EXPECT FROM OUR COUNTRY ? WHAT WOULD YOU DO ? GOD. BLESS YOU EVERYONE. PEACE AND PRAYERS. AMEN .

The ride was terrible! I felt like I was in the back of a creepy white van. Felt EVERY bump as the van had no suspension. Excruiciating ride after having surgery. My God, how did these folks get a liscense for med transport let alone a partnership with Providence.

I work at a pain management clinic in Salem and we had a patient who needed to be picked up at 4pm. At 4:30, no one had shown up for the patient, we called the transportation service and they said the driver was 30 minutes away so we waited until 5pm, still no one had arrived. We called the dispatcher again and he said “The driver is still 30 minutes away” because of traffic. Shouldn’t transportation know better to plan for 4pm traffic?Our clinic closes at 4 so our staff had to stay late to ensure the patient was properly taken care, obviously we are not going to leave them outside on the street. The patient informed me that this is not the first time Metro West has done this to them and they were once made to wait 5 hours in Salem for a ride. Metro West, from my experience, does a poor job when it comes to taking care of their clients. Very unfortunate.

INCONSISTENT. DIFFERENT LEVELS OF PROFFESSIONALISM. YOU CAN HAVE PICK UP AND RETURN TIMES AND IT DOES NOT MATTER. TIME TABLES CAN CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE . SOME TEAM MEMBERS LACK OF INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC.., PLENTY OF ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

I feel compelled to post a postive review in light of several negative ones.
This was my first experience with Metro West.
1) Operators available 24 hours a day
2) Booking a reservation was quick and easy
3) Pre-paid so I wouldn't have to carry credit card to the hospital
4) Cancelled the trip to the hospital the night before with no problem
5) My discharge was delayed by 2 hours and Metro West adusted my
pick up time with no problem.
6) If it is any indication, my nurse in post-op said, "it is good that you
booked Metro West because (XXX) company is terrible."
7) Driver arrived exactly on time, was friendly and personable. Thanks

Driver was nice, but showed up an hour late for my pickup to doctors, then waited over an hour for ride back with them saying it would be 1 hour late. Then called after it was 1 hour and 30 min late and they said it was gonna be at least another hour or longer till they came to get me. Dont trust if your needing things done timely.
