I feel like Dr. Zegarra cares about his patients. He gives me encouragement to help take care of my older brother and myself.
Sometimes it is hard to hear/understand him because he is soft spoken and Mexican.
But....he listens to me and is very knowledgeable about my health.❤️

Dr Zegarra and all staff are the best. Went to Dr Zegarra for several years until I had to have an extensive surgery. Dr Zegarra saved my life because he acted swiftly and found the best colon surgeon in Phoenix Az. Two yrs later and feeling like my own self. Now I'm back in Bullhead City Az and getting ready to make an appointment with him. Thank you Dr Zegarra and your staff. Without you I may not have gotten through

These ppl are ALWAYS frkn Closed! How do you help your patients, how am I supposed to make my follow up appointment when YOU guys never call back, and I can Never get anyone on the phone. Only-Thank you for calling Aban care clinic if you are hearing this message we are currently closed. As I write this it is Thursday at 3, VERY MUCH open medical hours as I work in medical Myself.

Dr. Zegara has been my primary Dr. For 7 years, providing me with excellent care.The times I was admitted into Valley View hospital , Dr. Zegara was always there making his rounds.The staff at Aban Clinic are professional and they have always treated Me with kindness and respect. Summer is a good doctor. Staff needs much improving. They rarely answer the phones or text back. Other doctors have requested my records so they can treat me and never got them, even 6 months later, still nothing. I tell them i have a co-pay, they don't take my money then bill me months later for non payment. I call to confirm my appointment since i didn't get a confirmation call or text and no one is answering. I have state ins, and i don't know of another female doctor in town so I'm forced to stay with them.

Dr Zegarra is a wonderful Dr. The problem is the staff. He has grown the practice in the past few years and hired new employees. They have 1 Dr and 2 fnp. They order lab tests and never hear results, no calls nothing. Waited for my fathers refill to be approved and it took almost 3 weeks. Pharmacy said they did not respond to numerous requests. This was a regular blood pressure med. They rarely answer the phone and the way these reviews are answered on here by the owner stating they are short staffed is totally unprofessional. The general public does not need to know they are short staffed. Schedule patients according to the ability to provide. It is not fair to patients to keep them waiting or not receive refills in a timely manner, or inform them of lab results. At the very least contact the patient to let them know if everything is ok or if they need to be seen. They also say you can text them but those go unanswered as well. If there are 3 providers then not sure why patients are being kept waiting so long. My fathers health is poor and Dr Zegarra has taken wonderful care of him but the office in itself has serious management problems. Brian who is the best ever should be in the front because his style and friendly demeanor has a calming effect.
