I visited this clinic hoping for genuine medical insight and care, but what I got was a textbook case of dismissive and outdated medical practice. I’m dealing with anemia and trichomonal neuralgia, and instead of addressing my needs, the staff seemed more interested in shoving pharmaceuticals down my throat. The doctor suggested a beta blocker, which I specifically told them I can't take due to its impact on my twitch. Instead of listening, they insisted I try it anyway, even though I clearly expressed my concerns.

It’s infuriating that they prioritize pushing chemicals over treating the root of my issue—B12 deficiency. They seem more interested in prescribing pills than addressing my real need for vitamins, likely due to the stigma attached to such treatments. They also found it absurd that I did self-injections, despite clinics everywhere offer similar weight-loss injections for home use.

I love this office!! The staff are friendly and are really great at explaining things and following up. I see Connie Douglas who is a nurse practitioner. She is more thorough then any doctor I've seen since moving to BHC 6 years ago. I would highly recommend this office.

First time patient. Made appointment with call center 2 days before. Clarified appointment time 2 x with Chantel who confirmed appointment at 7 am Arizona time. She said to get there at 6:30 am to complete paperwork. We arrived at 6:20 only to be told by Stephany that we were late for appointment due to the paperwork that needed to be completed. Stephany required us to reschedule. Thank goodness another employee intervened and ask us to complete paperwork so that we could be seen. The paperwork completion took less than 15 minutes as most of it was already completed on the forms by their office. Terrible first impression with elderly patients. Elderly patients were most of the people in their waiting room.

SCAM!!! Had me drive an hour away to tell me they don’t take Aetna insurance. When I made the appointment 2 weeks ago it was not an issue. Tried to get me to pay cash. Unbelievable

Had an appointment for a first time visit. My daughter went to pick up paperwork to be filled out for being a new patient a few days before appointment.The two office employees were so rude to her and so busy gossiping. I know it was the last hour of their work day, but no compassion or empathy. My daughter said she would take me, but would not go in with me. Nor did she want me to have to deal with that kind of ignorance. Needless to say I cancelled!! It's a sad situation because I understand they have really good doctors practicing behind that front desk.

Worst doctors office I have ever dealt with. The officer manager- Felicia is rude and doesn't care about the patients. If your doctor is sick then they just cancel your appointment rather than placing you with another provider. God forbid you actually need the appointment so you can get your loved ones moved to an assisted living facility- they can't even fill out that paperwork correctly. 10 calls later I might have it all worked out and the emails to reschedule - well maybe they will end too. I have never been so disgusted with an office. And don't even get me started on Western Arizona Regional Medical Center as a whole.

This place is such a joy! All the staff are extremely friendly and informative. I have had encounters with almost every staff member, and I am yet to find someone who wasn’t helpful. Or who wouldn’t find me someone else on staff who could help me, if they couldn’t. I have never had such a good experience with a Dr’s office. While I can admit there will always be something that will frustrate me, but that’s normal and I as any normal adult should understand, THE STAFF ARE ONLY HUMAN, and can only do so much. Most of the previous reviews I have read I find are ludicrous. Faulting a company for events that can sometimes be out of their control. People should understand businesses are run by normal everyday people too and in no way should reflect on how you view a company as a whole. Tearing down a business is never the way. If I could give them more stars and praise I would!

I agree with some of the posts I have read. The office staff does need to be re-educated in customer service and communication but they are not the whole issue. Other patients that are not prepared or lack the ability to understand what the doctor or medical assistant in saying slows down the rhythm of the day getting from one patient to the next. If it were not for Dr. Simmons and her MA who care and have the ability to listen, I would not go back. As for other service givers at WARMC there is a lack of service so I go elsewhere.
