Staff are fantastic, friendly, and caring. Nurses are a lot of help, communication between staff is fantastic when it comes to needing to find out details. Absolutely love the activities they have planned especially around the holidays! The CNA’s are awesome, Tabatha is always willing to help, don’t know what I’d do without her!

This place literally saved my life, and I give Tempe Post Acute 5 stars. I'm 35 yrs old and had to complete 6 weeks of physical therapy and antibiotics. "It's not just for seniors". EVERYONE in EVERY position does their job to perfection and had a positive attitude no matter the situation. This facility is kept very clean everyday, also there is a expansion under construction to allow for more patients in need of care!

The team at Tempe Post Acute are second to none! It looks and smells clean, and the building has been well maintained. Walking down the halls it's obvious that the people here truly love what they do and who they work with. Everyone is always smiling and eager to help. Their therapy and nursing teams are amazing, case management goes above and beyond, and the drs/providers are in the building practically every day and super thorough. I wouldn't take my family anywhere else!

Hope our review helps you, when considering choosing this facility. If you need physical therapy. The sessions are very short only 10-15 minutes. A session anyone is able to do at home with online tutorials?. They don't assist or encourage getting up and walk or get out of bed after that session. Ashley in physical therapy is very professional and works very well with seniors. She is not brusque or impatient, very caring.

The two older ladies at the front reception are not welcoming. They barely smile, never acknowledging. As a matter of fact rude. Marisol, the younger receptionist is the only one who welcomes you on arrival.
Facility: building is old, some rooms are re-modeled. The old rooms are in very poor condition, very small. 4 patients share a toilet/sink in those old rooms. Those bathrooms need attention, they smell like urine very bad. The tv's mounted on the old rooms are connected using surge outlets zip tied to wall ?‍♀️. The building needs ventilation, the odor is strong will penetrate your clothes after you visit.
Housekeepers are very sweet and polite, though. No problems with them.

The Nurses they have day/night makes their rounds a few times but are very delayed in coming back with inquiries or request. Med cart RNs/med techs are mostly all good, professional. A few times, they were not able to answer questions about meds or new orders.

CNA staff do come around but during busy times they are delayed more than 15 minutes. Most CNAs are friendly, attentive, caring. One CNA, would skip attending to my family member on a few occasions, she was passive aggressive. Made rude remarks about us visitors. I felt unsafe leaving my family member alone, after visiting. If she was rude while we were present, imagine leaving our loved one alone.
A CNA in a nursing home treating patients differently based on race is considered unethical and discriminatory behavior, violating professional standards and potentially breaking the law; all patients should be treated equally regardless of their race or ethnicity; if you witness this happening, it's important to report it to the appropriate authorities within the facility. I am glad we did report her inappropriate behavior. I am thankful they took action and acknowledged this bad behavior. I hope it does not happen to anyone else.

Case manager is very good, she listens to your concerns & takes actions. Social worker is very sweet, polite and helps with your needs.

Make sure to advocate for yourself or a loved one.
Do a tour yourself, ask questions. Be involved.

They ordered me a walker and said it would be delivered either on that Sunday or Monday. I was discharged that Sunday. I never received the walker and have made calls to both the therapy department and administrator. No call backs from anyone. So here I sit without a walker. The common areas seem clean enough. However the rooms are a different story. There was feces on the bathroom wall. I’m sure it’s still there. Also feces on the walker I used there and had to clean it myself. Call light response terrible. 3x’s there was a wait time of 40 mins. I was able to walk thank god so I could get up to get what I need. The poor bedridden folks. The therapy staff were great. Food was good

The nurses and CNA were wonderful.

Terrible administrative staff. They were deceitful, incompetent, poorly trained and disorganized. My family member arrived last week. After discovering this was not going to be a good fit for my family member, I requested them transferred to another facility.
The other facility set everything up. All Tempe Post Acute was required to do was discharge the patient they had less than 24hrs. Which they could not do and it took them 5 days to finally do it. They bumbled the paperwork sending it to the wrong facility. Initially not a big deal. After being notified multiple times they dragged their feet, blamed the new facility. Wouldn’t return phone calls from me or new facility. Said they were working on it. Did not rectify their mistake. Did not apologize. They strung us along for several days because apparently they do not have administrative staff or doctors Thursday afternoons through Monday morning. This is a 24 hour facility and ONLY people capable of handling a transfer, work partial business hours Monday to Thursday? How convenient.

It is 2024, it should not take multiple days to send a document. People work from home. Things can be scanned from cell phones. Email and fax machines are over 25 years old. The other facility would accept a phone call from doctor and nurse okaying the discharge. But Tempe Post Acute doesn’t have that beginning Thursday afternoons.
I can buy a house or a car completely online, but when it comes to patient care that’s only Monday to Thursday business hours at Tempe Post Acute.

They claim to be 5 stars and newer. They’re not. The building is older. The fire alarms go off daily near one of doors. The patient rooms are thrown together and crowded. It’s loud. Patients share rooms. They’ll say differently. Physical therapy offered was once a day for a few minutes. No encouragement to get patients up and walking outside of that. No occupational therapy outside of crossword and seek and find puzzles they do in their rooms. The property transported with my family member is missing. They can’t find it. It left the hospital with them and was brought in with them.

The only positive is nursing and CNA staff are NICE and competent. So if you have family here they are cared for by them. However, the admin staff sucks and facilities are definitely not 5 stars.

Do better Tempe Post Acute. When you make mistake own it. Fix it in a timely manner.

Great team right here, they work together and support our community. Carry is an awesome therapists. Marlina is a very thorough case manager, the ED Amador goes above and beyond to accommodate patients. Would definitely recommend!

All Stars in their field John the Wound care awesome Cindy Rachel Dory All the CNA's are good awesome excellent upper management not impressive the lack of following through of very dangerous often lethal medications to stop taking suddenly left me homeless in the street to have surgery scheduled ten days from discharge and the ten pill policy and the e scripts for enough medication to be safe but they were not sent benzodiazepines and opioids to be that irresponsible with my life that was in your care if they would have just done what they told me they could do and would do I would have made it to my surgery is stead of several seizures through a vail of luck I'm still on the correct side of the dirt not for there promise of sound medical advice or care there is no justification that is what continues to add the epidemic of deaths and rampant misuse of the term "quality of care" there is no quality in that care
