I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding services provided by Brisma Pharmacy! I've come to rely on their expertise and dedication for the past 6 years, and I can confidently say that they have been a true lifesaver for myself and my other family members who also use their services. The staff is always friendly, they reciprocate the same urgency I have when it comes to my health, and they have proven time and time again that they can and will go above and beyond to make sure that their patients' needs are met. They have been an invaluable resource, offering guidance and answering all of my questions with patience and empathy. I live at the same address as some of my family members who also use Brisma, so their precise and easily understood labeling system has been much appreciated. Another reason why I LOVE Brisma is because of their flexible delivery system. I am someone who travels out of state quite a bit, so it is really nice being able to make a short call telling them to deliver my medications at a different date.

I have had nothing but problems with Brtsma. First they sent all my medicine in bubble packs. 6 separate times I requested vials only as I am unable to get them out of the Bubbles & my Dr had me sign an agreement saying I would keep my medicine put away. Kind of hard to do when they are attached to 8 x 10 cardboard with all of your prescription info there for everyone to see. Each time I talked to the manager Ivy, she assured me she had noted "vials only" & flagged my account, yet it continued to happen. I shared my concern with Ivy that if her pharmacists weren't 0reading my chart before they filled my prescriptions or reading the labels they attached to the medicine, what assurances do i have that I am getting the correct medicine? Second, I called early Friday morning to request my anxiety medicine, I was assured it would be delivered that afternoon. It wasn't. I couldn't reach Brisma Saturday or Sunday. Finally Monday I got hold of Ivy. She told me it was too late to deliver Friday, so it was put in a bin & forgotten until I called. So I went without my medicine for 2 days. Next they sent out medicine as often as they could, whether I needed it or not. Even though I requested they not fill them until I requested them. The final straw was when they sent me the wrong medicine! The label correctly had my name.& stated what the prescription should be, but that was Not what I got! It was an entirely different medicine!!! The label of the box clearly stated the name of the correct medicine. If the pharmacists had bothered to compare the table to the box, they would have caught the mistake. Fearing that Brisma was going to kill someone, I filed a complaint with the Arizona State Pharmacy Board. Once Ivy found out about this she told me that they no longer would be helping me. Thank God! I am now with CVS & am much happier.

With ANY CARE PROFESSIONALS who have accepted responsible positions involved in LONG TERM CARE facilities, it's supposed to be "well understood, expected AND ACCEPTED" that some "facility residents" ARE allowed to and DO choose to keep physical control of and management of their Rxs. To make my decision on changing to a new LTC pharmacy, I needed to have a few and VERY simple questions answered; from intake to pharmacist, I kept being told to have the facility make contact with Brisma or have "my facility's manager explain Brisma." Being down to the wire of needing Rxs delivered (I'd submitted my questions twice through Brisma's unanswered "contact-us" email, did few days of MANY episodes of being left on permanent holds or just disconnected, I'd had a brand NEW e-Rx sent and I'd asked Brisma obtain my Rxs from my prior pharmacy) I finally got connected to someone I was told was a Brisma pharmacist; initially, my questions were vaguely listened to, only to realize I was being dismissed to "talk to my facility manager because, anyway, they would be handling the Rxs;" THE pharmacist did not know LTC residents CAN AND MAY control Rxs.
FINALLY thinking the pharmacist: NOW HAD awareness of medical cautions for filling my Rxs, had given some basic answers of my questions, and Brisma's refill mistakes were, timely, caught and corrected, I thought to at least try using Brisma for LTC Rxs services.
At delivery, I got THREE Rx refills of non-requested or asked ""no need to fill, "as yet," medications."" Manufacturers for all three had changed. Of the medicines that were requested filled: three of the Rx pills' manufacturers were changed (I had asked for Rx makers' inserts, if that happened), and (no explanations were sent) the NEW e-Rx came 30 pills short of 120 and the 90 pills received were split into two manufacturers brands. I had to research (the pill shapes, colors and stampings) if they were the correct Rxs and about my medical cautions. Never mind other issues, HOW were SIX Rxs delivered when only THREE were requested? Of course this happened on the weekend and mistakes are to be reported within 24hrs; luckily, I reported the problems while the Rxs were being filled but certainly before-hand, Brisma, deliveries.

I totally dislike that my most important medicine that I've been taking over 20 yrs was never given to me by them. I was told that my medicine was going to be delivered to me on Sunday. Sheesh can't even get a hold to them on a Sunday. I want my medicine to be sent to CVS PHARMACY.
I am going to call them too.Theyy are better in my opinion, smh

Brisma pharmacy has been a God sent for my family. Starting from the pharmacist to the staff. Their professionalism and caring approach to things is what makes this pharmacy stand out. When things come up ( which is infrequent), their willingness to work with you, listen and find a solution is very important to me and my family. Thank you Brisma for everything that you do and continue to do for our communities.

What can I say, Brisma Pharmacy has lived up to their name. I don't know who else would go more than that extra mile to make sure we had all the medicine we needed at the time we really needed a miracle. Iby, you are more than the best and your staff has been AMAAAAZZZIIINNGG!!!!!
