Danielle has treated my wounds on 2 separate occasions within the last 2 years. I have never experienced a more pleasant professional than her. She's a wonderful asset to her organization, and anyone that has her treat their wounds can definitely count themselves
as fortunate.

This is a great wound care company. Nurse Becky and Lelia are absolutely the best! Very skilled. Also, they are compassionate and caring, very kind to my 82 yr old mother needing the care.
I really appreciate this company and the nurses! Becky is very responsive and communicative.
If you need wound care, this is the best company!

Danielle has been fantastic! She arrives on time and if she’s running late, she always texts and lets us know.
Her knowledge is also outstanding-she’s already suggested a couple of products and approaches we were unfamiliar with and those are already yielding great results! She’s a great communicator and always makes time to educate us on what’s going on and answer a plethora of questions we bombard her with. She’s also extremely responsive even taking time to return a call on a Sunday when we ran into an issue-incredible! Could not recommend Danielle more-she’s a true professional!

The united Wound Institute has been such a helpful place for my mother-in law’s wound care. Juile, Jodi, and Alex, are always friendly and knowledgeable team that helped my mother in law’s wounds to heal. This is a wonderful institution to help your love one’s wounds to heal properly.

I strongly do not recommend United Woundcare Institute for wound care services. My experience with their staff and corporate practices was deeply disappointing and concerning.

My elderly mother in Albuquerque, who is under hospice care, received wound management from Windy, a nurse practitioner from United Woundcare Institute referred by her hospice nurse at Advanced Health Care. Windy took over treating a serious sacral wound that had been undermined and had persisted for five months. Despite trying several different wound care products, there was no significant clinical improvement, and the undermining did not reduce.

Communication from Windy and the company was consistently poor. As the person with medical power of attorney for my mother, I handle all professional communication. Unfortunately, I often struggled to receive updates and important documentation. Windy assured me I would have access to her clinical notes, but despite multiple follow-ups, the company failed to share these records. Additionally, Windy never provided visual documentation of the wound’s progression.

When my mother had an opportunity to visit a specialty wound care clinic at the University, conflict arose with Windy, who insisted she had advanced expertise. After this, Windy stopped managing my mother’s care and, to my knowledge, left the company. Shortly after, I received a letter from United Woundcare Institute, signed by Manager Ashley B., stating, “Our primary focus is on managing and treating more complex wound conditions that require advanced interventions and resources. Given the nature of your wound, we believe that your care can be effectively managed by your primary care physician or a general wound care clinic.” This reasoning was shocking, especially given that Windy had been brought in because my mother’s condition had become severe.

Further, it is troubling that United Woundcare Institute claims to consult with an in-house physician whose identity remains unknown, and who never saw my mother. It’s disturbing that medical consultations for serious wounds would not have hands-on care. Overall, this experience highlighted their concerning corporate attitude, lack of transparency, and failure to deliver effective wound care.

Daniel has been so responsive and helpful with Joe's situation. She gives wonderful suggestions and has literally become someone we look forward to seeing a couple times a week. She has such an uplifting demeanor and so positive.
