Dr. Sorenson is knowledgeable and the staff is caring, unless your child is actually getting sick or is feeling sick. Unless you are looking for annual checkups or vaccinations booked months in advance you are out of luck. Just tried to get my daughter in and she can see her in December, this is August, and her assistant can see her in November. Not much help there.

I absolutely love Dr Dawn Sorenson!! She does an amazing job with all three of my children. I have been taking my children to her since 2015. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers any questions you have. She remembers my children and I love that! I highly recommend her to any parent! The whole Banner staff is excellent!!

She’s the best! She handles my baby well, (I feel other pediatricians are rough & handle the baby like they’re dolls!) She’s very understanding & sweet & polite. She listens to all my questions and gives me detailed answers. I can tell she genuinely cares. Since our first appointment she gave off great energy & my husband and I were very impressed with her overall. I would recommend her 1000%.

We have been seeing Dr. Sorenson since she started practicing in Maricopa. My sons all adore her. She listens to parents concerns and observations and talks directly to children. It makes my boys listen to her because they feel like she respects them and they are partners. She remembers the details of our lives and I don't feel like she ACTS like she cares, I believe she really does. She is an exceptional pediatrician.

We recently moved to Maricopa from CA and was so nervous to try a new pediatrician for our son. Dr. Sorensen was amazing! very knowledgeable and sweet. The staff was friendly and professional and I’m excited to bring my two year old son here and soon our newest baby coming in March.

I have a premature daughter, born almost 2 1/2 month early, and Dr. Sorenson treats her like she would he own child. She is so careful and is such a relief when I bring her. She also is now seeing my other daughter and she has a medical condition and Dr. Sorenson is so patient and really really listens to the kids, she is understanding and will stay in the room as long as you need her to be to make sure you dont leave wondering what just happened in your appointment. She doesnt rush and is careful with word choices to make sure the patient understands what is happening as well. I dont care if I ever move out of Maricopa, my kids will always see her.

We had a baby less than a week ago and this practice got me in so quick with Dr.Sorensen. She was such a sweet doctor and answered all questions. She also took the time with us as new parents to offer any advice we requested. So happy to have her as our pediatrician.
