Don't go to this emergency room super inefficient. Very slow I been waiting 2.5 hrs to take x ray and 4 hours for x ray results. Staff is slow and unfeeling, nurses look lost. Terrible customer service a patient said was starving due to long wait the patient actually left to get food and cone back while still admitted to emergency room nurse said ok cause the hospital had nothing. I was not satisfied with care I was given so after discharge I went to St. Joseph’s on 99th Ave. They where great, thoral, caring and fast. GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AT OWN RISK....I SUGGEST GOOGLE A BETTER PLACE.

My father in law had fallen at home was bleeding and bruised from the face, he needed to go to the restroom and he said he felt he would fall but the nurse said that he would be fine and told him to walk on his own. He was sent home they said everything was fine.. We left and took him to the main hospital only to find out he had fallen because he had a stroke/brain aneurysm and it was a miracle he was even alive. These people must have not had any more patience or empathy because he had been here the days prior because he felt his head would explode. So they didn't take him seriously the day of the stroke. I hope they hire people that actually love what they do, and act with care and compassion.

I brought my son in for severe back pain we sat and waited hours while on the our side of the curtain the nurses talked and giggled about food from the cafeteria and engagement rings. Not one of them came to check on us nor did a Dr come in the hospital was slow not even busy. My son asks how much longer till they come and I have no answer People come the hospital because they are sick injured in pain etc. They expect to be seen in a reasonable time frame treated with kindness compassion and respect looking at previous reviews as I sit here still waiting I can't help but write yet another bad review and wonder what management will do and when they will do what is needed to make this facility worthy of being called a hospital.

I was at your emergency room this weekend and was treated very poorly, AND I WAS BROUGHT IN BY AMBULANCE!! It was the Maryvale location to be precise. Was having an SEVERE Asthma attack in which I had no choice but to Epi myself.....and they did absolutely nothing for me, followed up with my doctor and lo and behold I was very bad!! Not only was I having a severe asthma attack then, I was still having extreme throat tightness that lasted for 3 days afterwards!! My Dr, they did a pre and post albuterol neb in their office and my spirometry improved by 54%.54% IS A HUGE DEAL, YOUR HOSPITAL SENT ME HOME TO SUFFER! Needless to say since the ER failed to give me the steroids I was asking for I had to get a Kenalog injection and I have to do a pulse of high dose prednisone thanks for nothing Valleywise!

valleywise hospital keep up the great work! my sister came in because she cut her hand with a plate she loved how they were careful when putting the stitches on how they all the nurses or doctors made jokes valleywise hospital cause of you my sister is alive till this day!(dont mind the name)

My son was a patient in the ER on 3/11/22. His R.N. caseworker named Mark was very kind and helpful in regard to helping my son receive the care he needed. The doctor was very kind and sat and listened to my concerns for my son. Previously, my son was a patient in the behavioral hospital there and he received excellent care from his Doctor, Nurse Practitioner and his Caseworker. We have truly been blessed with this hospital and the care my son has received there. I would highly recommend this hospital as the staff do all they can to advocate for the patient and the family.

This emergency room is the worst. I came in complaining of my throat being very sore, fever, chest pains, having the chills, back pain and a massive headache. They did a covid, flu and strep test and told me they were all negative which was false. I definitely had strep and had to suffer 3 days with the pain cause I trusted what they told me and just tried to ride it out (as they told me). I was told I had a non bacterial virus that kids are passing to adults and was given Tylenol and ibuprofen for my fever and pain. When I called today to let them know I was misdiagnosed I was told by Amber the supervisor "that's why we tell you to follow up with your primary care doctor; no apology, sympathy nothing and had the nerve to had an attitude. I work with kids and could have passed this to them cause they just rush people out and not do their job which is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to NO ONE!
