I had the privilege of switching to the Womancare team near my third trimester during a difficult pregnancy. I wasn't entirely sure I would have the confidence to be able to have a home birth, but after our initial consultation with Margie and her team, we knew we were making the right decision. Each and every appointment was so informative, and it was so clear that Margie and her team care deeply about the work they are doing.

We attended the childbirth education classes with Amy, which gave me the confidence to feel completely empowered during birth, as well as the spinning babies class facilitated by Krystal.

We had the honor of having Margie, Krystal, and Hannah attending our birth, and decided to hire Amy as our doula. I don't think we could have dreamt of having a better group of women attending the birth of our daughter. I had an incredible home birth experience, most of which I contribute to having the education, resources, and safe space to labor with. Every person held such sacred space for me during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I felt so safe and confident during the entire process.

Our daughter was born with a lip and tongue tie which Margie was able to identify right after birth, and we had a complicated breastfeeding journey - all of which Margie assisted with through every step of the way, and we were able to successfully breastfeed with the help of her guidance.

When my husband and I were considering moving out of Flagstaff, we made a "pros and cons" list. On the top of the "cons" list was that we wouldn't be able to have Margie and her team as our care team in future pregnancies. She took incredible care of us - I truly didn't believe I would want to get pregnant again and go through this experience, but with the care that we received, the exact opposite has come true. I feel so empowered to go through pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding again because of the care that Margie and her team provided. I would recommend her team time and time again, and would also highly recommend Amy if she is available for doula services. These women have changed my life and provided such a wonderful entrance into the world for our daughter, and we are forever grateful.

Working with Margie and her team is the best experience you could possibly ask for!! They are so knowledgeable at what they do, and do such an amazing job providing resources and classes for parents. I had so much confidence going into labor by the end of it all knowing I was in good hands, and just knowing what to expect. They prepare you so well with just what to do throughout your whole pregnancy to make labor as smooth as possible, and it really paid off for me. Not only are they good at what they do, but they are also such a loving staff, and by the end of it all they feel like family.
