I will go to A Heartbeat Away for as long as I live in the Huntsville area. I drive 30 minutes, all the way to Decatur, because I trust Kimberly and her staff. She talks straight, is truly interested in my response when she asks “how is your life going?”, and I like that A Heartbeat Away has fair and straightforward pricing. I also appreciate that Kimberly takes ample time to listen and help solve my issue when I have an ailment. I’ve never felt rushed when I come here. A Heartbeat Away was recommended to me and I feel blessed that I acted on it.

Also, I speak English, but I really appreciate that they are bilingual and provide a service for the Spanish speaking community in this area.

Nurse Practitioner Kimberly from One Heartbeat Away in Decatur, Alabama, is the most knowledgeable and thorough medical practitioner I have had the experience of associating with! The building is uniquely decorated and enjoyable, the staff are inviting and helpful, and Kimberly is knowledgeable in functional/integration medicine such as herbals as well as traditional. She will go out of her way to explain concepts, to divulge information, and to make the best of your time with her. I most certainly recommend adding her to your network to anybody requiring routine medication with moderate to severe problems.

The Heartbeat away Clinic is AMAZING! Kimberly Samuel takes her time with each patient, listens intently, and works to find the best solution for you. She was able to tackle a difficult health issue my husband had been suffering with that his neurologist wasn't able to solve. It was life-changing for him. I highly recommend her services. She is very affordable too! I'm SO grateful we found this clinic.

Kimberly is a decent and friendly nurse practitioner. But, the staff could be better. When nobody returned my calls EVER to reschedule my January appointment, I called Monday 2/3 for prescription refills and a new appointment. Prescriptions weren't sent for 2 days, and I showed up for an appointment I apparently didn't have today, where I was asked to sign a form saying I'd be charged $20 for not showing up or rescheduling appointments. I expressed no, I'm not signing that to get charged due to an employee's incompetence, and that people need to learn how to do their jobs. And Kimberly decided I was too rude to her staff and couldn't continue coming here. Sadly, I have insurance now, I only kept coming here out of loyalty I guess. Don't have to worry about that anymore

Amazing place to get the right care for the right price. Kimberly was extremely knowledgeable about what I needed and will go the extra mile that other people won't. Will definitely be going here for any future needs, and highly recommend everyone else do the same. Service desk was kind and explained everything well, if you don't want to have to wait, make an appointment. However if you do have to wait it's more than worth it.

Never been to Alabama in my life. Received a charge on my debit card from this clinic. Called clinic told them situation receptionist replied manager would call me back. Waited 2 hours no callback. So I called asked to speak to manager was asked my name. I said yes this is Jeff. Immediately got an attitude " I told you he is looking into and would call you back." Gave her back same energy she gave me and was Immediately hung up on. Tried calling back many times since but no answer. Forced to cancel my card and call local Alabama police department. To report Fraud. Just by Google images of office I feel bad for any of there patients think I'd rather die than seek help at this type of so called doctors office.
