I am so happy I found this business! I had been working with HME and I’m telling you it’s night and day. Endless frustration with HME. Everything here is straightforward, easy, friendly, great customer service, great inventory. It’s made all the difference. This business is locally owned and operated and you can tell they truly care about their community. I highly recommend A+R Medical Supply.

I forgot my cpap mask for vacation and Gilmore and Evelyn fitted me with a great new mask. It fits great and is less of a problem when I sleep. Thanks for their skill.

A & R had delivered oxygen to my new born daughter today. And the regulator was leaking and leaked out half the oxygen tank by the time I got home. Tried calling the number on the card provided during delivery and got sent to voicemail after one ring, voicemail was full and would just hang up. I was unable to reach anyone from 11:30am- 6:30pm. The driver than showed up to my house with the extra tanks but I had already went to another DME company and got what she needed. Thank god cause by the time the driver arrived she would have been completely out. The driver than called his branch manager Evaline which was extremely rude and said she was still going to charge me for the service even though the equipment could barely get me home. Which is ridiculous. She then said I can refuse the equipment but my card would still be charged. Wish I could give this place zero stars cause they don't even deserve the 1!

Completely rude customer service. Purchased an item was the wrong size will not return nor work with me to resolve this problem. Go somewhere else for medical supplies.

I came in with a prescription for crutches. Before coming in I called to see if they had my size and what information they would need. They told me they would need my doctors notes and the prescription. As my surgery was only a few days away, I drove to my doctors office to get the notes. I brought both to A & R medical but was told that the notes didn’t say what they needed them to say and that they couldn’t give me the crutches without addended notes from my doctor, which could take a few days. At that point, needless to say I took my business elsewhere.

Staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Bought a recliner as well as some medical necessities, and it was delivered early next day.

Non-existent customer service. I used A&R for about a year, after taking over 3 months to get set up with them. CPAP supply replacement schedule was never set up correctly. Had to call them constantly to get supplies shipped. They were very poor in returning phone calls. In January of this year, they informed me that my insurance would no longer pay for the mask I used and also told me that they would no longer ship supplies, you had to go to their store to pick them up. I scheduled three different appointments at their Santa Fe office for a new mask fitting only to be told when I arrived (or was on the way there) that the masks were not available. The manager at the store promised to call me when the masks arrived. Never got a follow-up phone call.
I finally changed companies for my CPAP supplies. Interestingly I found out that the mask that A&R told me was no longer covered by insurance was actually still covered and the new supplier mailed replenishment supplies.
I cannot recommend A&R for anything at this point. They add a new level to very poor customer service.

A&R came through during a very tragic and difficult time for us. Our family's home and all its contents was destroyed last month when an aircraft flew into it. All my granddaughter's medical items were gone. A&R gave her a new nebulizer which relieved a burden on us considering all the items we are struggling to replace. Thank you so much Evelynne Gonzalez we truly from the bottom of our hearts appreciate your help and the help of your wonderful staff.
